No way this has 250+ mile range
We already own another brand of amplified antenna with 60 mile range. Very good, but when we saw this one, which boasts 250+ mile range, we jumped on it. Needless to say, it went back after trying to work with it for 2 days. Did not even get the number of channels that our 60 mile Mohu Curve antenna got (auto programmed multiple times to ensure this was the case). We are sticking with the Mohu Curve. Save your money. Would not recommend this one.

Gets all the top channels in clear HD
After disconnecting the expensive Xfinity bundle after more than a decade and switching to AT&T Fiber Internet (which has been great, btw), I needed a simple solution to get the local news and the top channels - Fox, ABC, NBC, CBS. I don't watch live TV much, but wanted to have an option. My prior antenna experience was more than a decade ago. This antenna had the ultra-thin form factor and great reviews. I tried several positions on the wall and lying face down etc, but the window position (picture) gave the best results receiving all of the channels above (and more) with superb picture quality and audio (that lit up my home theater). I feel the quality is even better than the Xfinity HD or maybe I feel that way since these come without a monthly payment :)The reality is that antennas are only as good as the reception in your area. I am in the San Francisco Bay Area South Bay and needed the amplifier to get most channels. The window position was easy to mount with the provided adhesive tape and the long cable. I am really happy about the purchase, as this lets me watch all the local news, some weekend. games, and occasionally some TV shows (we mostly watch streaming content on Fire Cube). And it reduces the remote clutter! In a nutshell, it's a great antenna, but your experience will depend on the area. If you are able to get the channels you care about (check out antennaweb), this antenna can give you the best experience once you figure out the placement location.

This little booger is AMAZING!
We were very skeptical that we could receive any signals, but boy did we!! The hook-up is totally easy like seconds easy!! Then we cleaned the window and hung up the antenna...and VOILA! 74 over the air channels for free (outside of the small cost for the antenna!!) We just wanted our 3 or 4 local channels (which we got!!,) but also all these other channels as well:)) Thank you for this wonderful little gadget!!!

Wishful Thinking
Perhaps if you are a flat lander, it might work. These hills in upper East Tennessee wouldn’t allow the device to pick up anything except public television. I was hoping for the networks that are broadcast 50+ miles from my home. It boasts that it works 250+ miles. The terrain didn’t allow me to have the reception I was looking for.
