Just got this. Ordered up a size, got large instead of medium, since some reviewer said the shirts will shrink. It’s definitely heavyweight, feels and looks well made. But, my, it’s huge. Looks like an XL, not large. I hope it does shrink some, otherwise my husband may have a new shirt.Update: soaked in hot water , with a little soap, and hung out to dry, making sure it was bunched up a little and not stretched. Yes, it did shrink. It fits just like I wanted, loose. Nice heavier cotton, not thin like most shirts. Comfortable. I plan to buy more of these.

My husband needed a red t shirt for a costume. This is a perfect plain red shirt that is comfortable and fits him perfectly. It was a fair price and my husband wears it all the time!

It's a nice shirt, fabric and construction, but it has tags. I haven't seen tags in t-shirts in years, and can't say I care for them. So, it's either cut them out, and try not to damage them, or return.

Great fit and quality. Holds up well being washed. True to color in photo. Quality is that of a $10 shirt. Comfortable. A good thickness in material for a short sleeve.

I'm a nerd when it comes buying anything. I research crap endlessly, learning every spec, how something's made, where it's made, why certain options are bad choices. Shirts are no different.I've been on the hunt for THE shirt: The simple, unbranded, 100% cotton, fitted, cheap black tee that's actually "heavyweight". Forget all that gimmicky "prima, egyption, ringspun" garbage -- it's just an excuse for clothiers to sell you a thin, wrinkly, overly stretchy shirt that uses as little cotton as possible, and that'll probably fall apart in a year. And forget "cotton blends" (50/50 cotton/polyester or spandex). That garbage really is toxic over time, it fades in the sun and once it stretches, it's done for. Don't wear it.This is the shirt. It's that heavy, solid, almost canvas-like cotton you occasionally get lucky finding in a random graphic or band tee you buy at some retail store. Color of this shirt is true black. Not that weird hint of blue, or gray, or brown. Just black.This shirt fits great, which was my biggest buying factor beside the material and thickness. It does exactly what I want it to do. Shows off the chest and shoulders, just a bit of room in the sleeves. I'm 5'8", 142 lbs, fit/thin, I do moderate weight lifting and run, and I picked a Small as my test shirt.I'll probably wind up going with the Mediums, since I'm sure this will shrink and become a tad tight. But in my experience, shirts like these shrink exactly one size after 2-4 washes. So since the Small fits perfect out of the bag, the Medium will likely be my go-to uniform shirt that I fill my closet with.

My usual size is a small. Based on some reviews that mention the shirt shrinks after washing, I purchased the Hanes shirt in both sizes small and medium. While the materials feel nice to touch and might last for a while, the neck area is way too narrow. Almost feels like my neck is being choked on, and I do not feel comfortable wearing this. I think this shirt is designed for people with very thin necks.

The feel of the fabric is perfect quality, it’s not see through at all and fits perfectly. I ordered XL that is my usual size and although this is men’s shape and fit it still fits me perfectly. Great value for the price and very flattering color.

Well it's just white T-shirts, so what?They were meant for motive printing.I was looking deliberately for Hanes, because I made good experience with them in the past. For now it is too early to judge how long they will survive the washing mashine. All I can say is that they arrived quickly and in good shape after 3 days

Wanted a good quality t-shirt that actually fitted me, and that is what I recieved. I am about 5'9 and ordered a medium. The t-shirts themselves are not exactly a thick material, but they're not thin, they feel smooth. If there was one thing I would say, it's that they are a tiny bit too long on the torso, not as bad as some t-shirts that claim to be a medium, but it would be the perfect t-shirt, if it wasn't just that inch too long on the torso (but this is just my preference, I prefer a shorter torso length on a t-shirt).
