I purchased a custom fit mouthguard for $125 after I purchased this mouthguard. When this mouthguard came it. I was disappointed in how thin it looked. I didn’t open the package. I was going to return it. After reading reviews on the $125 mouthguard, saying it can take up to 8 weeks to be finished. I decided to open this mouthguard and use it until my new one comes in. I am impressed at how easy it was to shape to my mouth. I am really impressed at how well this one fits and how well I can talk with it in. I think I may have wasted money on the more expensive mouthpiece. I think this mouthpiece does everything I want. I will wait to see how it does when I take a knee to the mouth.

I’ve been using sisu since 2013 for a full contact sport, and I can’t recommend these enough. There is a learning curve with molding them for the first time, but lots of people on YouTube have helpful tutorials. If you need something to keep your teeth from smashing together, want to be able to drink water and talk without slurring, this is it. I can wear one for hours and forget it’s in my mouth. Seriously I refuse to use the puffy rubbery ones you’ll fine at sporting goods stores. Those have their uses so check your individual sports safety guidelines, but if it allows for this type of mouth guard, definitely get one!!Cleaning- easy. Brush it with toothpaste, hydrogen peroxide, soap or whatever other mild cleaning solution is non toxic. The holes aren’t an issue as far as cleaning goes either.Staining- I use the white one and it can get stained if you don’t clean it often enough, or if you’re drinking red sports drinks consistently with use. I’ve never had one that stained badly enough to be noticeable at all.

Molds to my daughter’s teeth perfectly. So comfortable she loves it!

Molding is a little time consuming since we had to do it a few times to get it even. Haven’t used yet, but seems okay!

Stays in nice, great for bjj since you aren’t actively getting hit in the face. Little annoying to talk with but not bad. You may have to shape it a few times to get it how you want it but once you get it shaped it’s perfect .

So I went to the website I watched their videos I did it exactly that way I've done it five times now and this thing is so tight on my teeth it actually hurts and I cannot get it any looser there's just no way. Also the holes in the front where it hits my teeth get stretched and it cuts the inside of my lip. So this one is no for me. Bummer cuz I'm out the money and I really really needed one. Back to Walmart for the $1.50 version

Sometimes in BJJ I skip wearing my mouthguard because it makes it harder to breathe. This mouth guard makes it very easy to breather while exercising, I’m a big fan so far

It's as advertised, as far as the product goes and the instructions are clear, but I don't believe the sizing is going to be correct. even if you follow their chart. because some people may have smaller teeth and that might be the case here because I made 7 attempts to reheat and remold these. No matter what I did, I could not get a snug fit. I couldn't get it to where it would be tight enough to where I wouldn't have to worry about it popping out on a hard fall snowboarding or wakeboarding. which, I will try and get back to this at a later date to update. but at this point I'm only giving it 3 stars because I couldn't get it to work for me. I may need to buy one that's a size smaller but since I've already used this one and I'm trying to customize a little bit of it by trimming it with the height to keep it from rubbing my gums, I'm not going to return it... But it does work like they advertised, it does mold, it does fit, you could do it multiple times, but it may not be for everyone at least I won't get that really good tight fit I was looking for. I am worried about rubbing and what not.
