I got sent these neewer slider support arms to review. When using heavier cameras on a slider it's quite common for the bowl to slip, or even for the tripod itself to slip when you go to the extreme ends, or with carbon fibre sliders the actual carbon rods can bow. These support arms are designed to help prevent that. You clamp the arm to your tripod and it adds some support at either end of the slider. The quality of the product is pretty good, the arms extend so even if the tripod is quite high or the slider is quite long you can still clamp to the bottom of the tripod legs to keep it supported. It uses little ball heads to adjust the angle of the clamp and the 1/4 inch screw that connects to the slider, so it's easy to set up in any position. I've used this to support cameras like RED Komodos and Heliums as well as my Ursa Mini Pro 12K, and they do a pretty good job even with really heavy rigs at preventing anything slipping. The slider did still bow a little at the extremes but it made it all feel a lot safer whilst being a much smaller footprint than having to use lighting stands as support. Neewer are a cheap brand but the quality is actually really good on their current generation of products. So I'd highly recommend the support arms!

This is well made and put together, it is fairly simple to set up and attach to the tripod and slider with minimal fuss, you clamp onto the base of the tripod with the little clamp and tighten up. The support than extends and a little connector which sits inside your sliders tripod connections, you do this at either side and it gives you effectively a support against the tripod leg at either side and means that you can move the camera to either end of the slider without it dipping when you get to each end. In practice it works well once set up, the arms do provide stability, there is slight movement but only slight and wont be noticeable, in effect it does provide a rigid support. it saves having to use and carry two tripods to support a slider. However the tripod we have been using has three poles to the legs and because of the way the clamp is set up you can only have it in certain positions on the legs, you can't attach to the middle pole as the clamp is too thick, so it might depend upon your tripod to how effective this is. We did get it to clamp fine on the outside pole but just made things a bit more awkward. You can also only use it with sliders of a certain length as you are limited by the size of the pole, though it will be fine for 99% of sliders as it is quite long. I think the price if £75.99 as of April 2022 is a little on the high side for what you get, it's really two extendable poles and a clamp, I think around £50.00 would be a much more enticing price, however if you are looking for a solution to carrying around two tripods with your slider and want to slide to each end this does a very good job.

Excellent quality camera slider support arms with premium build quality, enables you to use one tripod with the cameras slider supported really well with supports at each side to improve stability, performance and peace of mind that your expensive camera and equipment is in safe hands. The supports can support a lot of weight , even though they are lightweight aluminium. The clamps are also really good quality, I like that there is a super soft cushioned rubber surface on the clamp that won't scratch your expensive tripod legs and also provides good non slip grip from the clamps. The ball heads are good quality, they can be moved at 360° to get the perfect angle you need with having 4 ball heads to move into position it is easy and feels really stable and sturdy once everything is set up correctly, which doesn't take too long, but just make sure everything is firm and in place first. It definitely improves my overall photography and filming capabilities, it's a welcome edition to my equipment, the build quality is superb as you would expect from neewer, they make some excellent budget camera equipment, this is no different. It arrives well packaged , it's more lightweight than I was expecting and I'm very pleased with the clamps too.

Slider support arms for yer cool camera tripod, Take a step back and watch as great panning shots of all those great vistas you've never been able to adequately capture take shape. This is probably how the kid in The Fablemans movie would have started his movie making career if he lived in modern times. Or mucking about with special effects on hs computer, maybe. Anyway, this is authentic, like the ace k-pop band BTS: it's authentic! It's happening! It's reasonbly priced! If you're not conviced by now you never will be.

Until I received this set I was using two light stands to hold my carbon fibre slider, which was cumbersome and tricky to manouvere. These supports attach to your tripod to ensure your slider remains level at all times. Very simple to use and far more effective than my previous method. Highly recommended to those using sliders.

This is quite a decent accessory for stabilising your camera in use. It's main usp is about having the sliding mechanism with built in supporting legs. Not much more to say other than that it feels steady in use and serves a purpose, but feels a little expensive for what it actually is.

Das anbringen der Stützarme an das Stativ und den Slider war sehr einfach und der Slider steht sehr stabil. Die arme können schnell gelockert werden wenn man das Stativ wieder in neue Position bringen möchte. Top!
