Perfect size for cooking spice bags, which is what I was looking for.My only criticism is that with only one string they are hard to tie closed (necessary if you are going to simmer for an hour). So I end up cutting the string apart to tie it. It would have been better if they had come with two opposing strings, but that would increase the price.

This is pretty much exactly what I wanted. The string's a little fiddly, but with a wee bit of fine motor skills and some patience, it's easy to manage. Takes about five to ten seconds to tie. If you're in such a rush for tea, you need more than tea, my friend.

these are well made, time will tell if I can re-use them.I'm using them for amendments for hydroponics.

These bags are made in China.They functionally work well for loose teas, but was hoping for all natural non bleached product made in USA.
