Cobi toys 422 Pcs Hc WWII /4828/ U-Boot U-47 Viib

I've done a lot of COBI "lego" sets and this one did not disappoint. The pieces fit snuggly so the model can be handles with the parts falling apart. It is a nice looking finished model.

I was worried that COBI was just another “cheapo-depo-foreign-garbage-knock-off” but that is NOT the case at all. As you can see from my photos, I’ve purchased several COBI kits and I’m going to buy more when funding becomes available. The brick quality is excellent. The instruction manual quality is excellent but for an old man like me, I do wish the photos in the manual were just a bit larger. Might not be an issue for younger eyes. FULL DISCLOSURE TIME: You WILL probably be missing at least one part from whatever kit you buy. Yeah, I know…but, look on the last page of the instruction manual and you will find a list of all the parts and instructions on how to contact COBI and they WILL send you the missing part! They DO support and stand behind their products. On the bright side, you WILL almost certainly have “spare parts”! That small, round, glass bowl has all of my spare parts…even a spare part or two from the L*** brand.

I didn't have time to build a scale plastic model so I bought this set. My son has been doing Cobi WWII sets for a while. Now it is Dad's turn! It looks great on the bookshelf.

it is pretty realistic says my kid who is 8 and he loves it. It took him about 4 hours to assemble without anyone's help.

I’m a massive fan of history, specifically war history, and even further, naval wartime history, so finding this was like finding the holy grail. Finding the company was, might I add- they have an entire collection like thisOnto the model: this is U-47, the Bull of Scapa Flow, famous for sinking the HMS Royal Oak. This model isn’t as detailed with moving features as some Lego set, but don’t let that detract from the value. It’s detailed, the parts are made from quality plastic, and the decals are painted on. No stickers.My only gripe is the instructions. Coming from building Halo Mega sets for the past 10 years, it took a good deal of time to figure how to read the manual, but once I did, I started breezing through this in no time.Definitely buying from the company again

I've never done a "lego" build before, but my kids have many times before. They jumped on this project, and had no idea they were building history. I greatly recommend this kit!

Our son is SO into Lego's & WWII stuff. This was a great find!
