HORIZON Zero Dawn: The Board Game - Thunderjaw Expansion

A great addition to the already excellent board game. That said, the instructions are really quite poor, but managed to work our way through to understand what we need to do (specifically thinking around the disc throwers, doesn’t tell you in the instructions where or when you can use these but all of sudden comes into play when playing…). The miniature itself is excellent quality and rivals even the sacred games workshop miniatures. If you love the original board game, you’ll love this also.

Delivery was on point and very quick, however I am disappointed in the quality of the item. The right leg of the Thunderjaw refuses to attach properly so you can see the majority of the leg joint and it ruins the look of the miniature. I want something that can be put together with ease and will look nice, not an item that refuses to be put together.

Bought this one for the Thunderjaw miniature and it's okay. A little fiddly to put together, legs kept falling off but seems sturdy now that it's on the base. The edges suffer from soft cheese syndrome, just as they do in the core game minis, but perhaps because this one is much larger it doesn't look too bad. I did not play the board game, so I can't review that part.

I confess I only got this for the minis and maps to use in a TTRPG. Miniatures are HIGHLY detailed but need to be primed before painting. Maps and pogs are good quality card board. Cards are decent quality with detailed pictures.

I bought this for the figure and I am very happy that I did. This figure is excellent! I had to paint this figure and the paint holds up well to it. If your thinking about getting this dont hesitate before it's gone. But when you get this it will not be painted
