Not sure, I seem to remember something about China in the ad I used to purchase it. I’m Pretty sure it’s from a place that sells rabbit meat.

Q: How many should I buy to line a size 8 womens coat?

I think 1 or 2 of these would be enough to line the inside of a coat, depending on the size of the coat, and also wether or not you are lining the sleeves as well

Q: Does the fur shred every where?

I actually had to wash mine and it held up well. I use it as a rug and have not seen any shedding. I don't have it in a high traffic area, so I use it more for decor than function. I have the brown version, but the backing looks the same.

Q: Has this been tanned?
