Used it in the Dominican Republic for 8 days - did not get burned!
I was leaving soon for a trip to the Dominican Republic with my three children and I did not want us to get burned. I have blond hair, fair skin and I am susceptible to burning. I researched all sunscreens available on the market. I wanted to avoid using ingredients that can possibly cause cancer. I wanted a natural, zinc based sunscreen, at a reasonable price. Amazon to the rescue, as usual. Burn Out kept me burn free for 8 days. It’s pretty lightweight for a zinc sunscreen. It covers your skin and that’s what I want it to do. I want to block out UVA and UVB rays, not get burnt, not receive more damage to my skin or get skin cancer. All you have to do is rub it in really well and it gets absorbed nicely into your skin. Would buy again from this seller.

Worked great - same as the BurnOut Kids
We've used BurnOut Kids for both kids and adults in the family with our first order being in 2012, so 6+yrs. :) Always seems to protect as intended and no irritation/rash/reaction at least for my family and extended family using it on both face and body. One big factor for us is seeing BurnOut products we are interested consistently rate well/safe on the EWG website. For an outdoors trip we recently took, I wanted to try something a bit more affordable from BurnOut, mainly for body usage since we trust the Kids one on the face. Happy to say protection again seemed as good as the Kids version and no bad interaction to report. While it might have a few more 2's on the EWG website versus the Kids version, I think it's a good compromise in a higher volume tube.

Its not as good as the original Burnout Sun
So I've been using the original Burnout Sun for about 10 years. I love it. Its my daily driver. This new formulation, i don't like so much. Its a bit more pasty, less easy to spread and leaves more white cast than the original ever did. The only reason I ordered this product is because the original is out of stock. My mistake was buying four tubes, which I'm now stuck with. The sun protection is awesome. Its not that easy to spread.

Good product, but NOT for face.
It does have a good consistency and pleasant smell, but I continue to have issues with this product stinging my eyes when I apply it to areas on my face. I do not have similar issues with other products--both physical and chemical block. I can only recommend this product for body application.

GREAT for body, not great for face if you wear makeup.
This review is for the 2017 formulation in the orange tube with blue lettering and cap. This is my go-to body sunscreen. It's more hydrating than Thinksport/Thinkbaby line and easier to spread as well as being slightly less whitening. Granted, it's only SPF 30, as opposed to 50, but for everyday use that's ok. I'll save the white Thinkpaste for "sporty" days (it seems more tenacious/waterproof anyway). I've also found it more spreadable/elegant than All Good, Vanicream, and other "crunchy" brands I've tried. Keep in mind that this is a cream formula, so you can't compare it with a lighter-than-air Asian types. But like I said, it's lighter, more lotiony, and less thick/pasty than other brands I've tried. I have not really tested the water resistance. It smells very slightly like pencil erasers. Not offensive or strong at all and kind of reminds me of school days (in a good way). It did stick in my brows, like most natural-ish, non-siliconey brands do, but that can be remedied by gently wiping them with a damp cloth if it bothers you.Compared to the Face and Body (white tube, blue lettering), it is much more moisturizing. The Face and body would require me to wear a separate moisturizer underneath; this one definitely does not. If you're looking for a matte finish, definitely try the Face and Body. This one may be more whitening, less spreadable, and therefore harder to use the full 1/4 teaspoon than the Face and Body, but I would definitely recommend this one over the face version if your skin tends to be dry or dehydrated. It left a dewy finish for about 30 minutes, then dried down to a natural, slightly glowy, not-matte finish. All that said, I don't regularly use it on face because it doesn't wear well under eye makeup--it makes my concealer/eyeshadow crease (again, because it's moisturizing). One star off for that, but I prefer to use something siliconey just on my face for that reason. However, I do plan to use it on outdoor days or no-makeup days, since it gives the skin a nice, moisturized look. I especially like using it on my hands, after using a nice hand lotion. In the summer, I expect this to be a staple body sunscreen.

WATERPROOF
Utilized over a 6 day vacation in Punta Cana and there is still plenty left. Great quality, and non-toxic. It does leave white streaks if you go into the water, but note that it is WATERPROOF. I really do not care about white streaks as long as my skin is protected. Highly recommend.
