Mishimoto MMAI-E46-01BK Performance Air Intake Compatible With BMW E46 3-Series 2001-2006 Black

Everything about this is great, quick to set up, easy installation. Took me less than 6min to install. The sound of the intake is so deep and mean, and you can tell the difference in the hp gain. This intake gives you about 13hp gain. There’s no annoying whistle, it’s there but it’s not as bad as the other reviewer is making it out to be. Overall, great intake. Definitely worth it.

easy to instal, very good packaging, you instantly feel the difference. One small thing is that it is a bit tight (space between the air filter and the headlight). Other than thay amazing.

I installed this on my 2004 BMW 330XI.Install took about 30 mins, everything fit in perfectly,My vehicle sounds a little louder when i step on the gas, No extra noisesI’ll see how the performance is after a month

Easy install on my 2003 330xi with basic hand tools. Car feels smoother and nice sound.

The heat / water sheiks was not bolt on. Had to bend it to fit the factory studs.It smashes into headlight and throws check engine code for MAF.I spent $2,300 replacing eveything and then went back to stock air box. Codes went away.I sent them 17 emails and had zero technical support. No warranty for silicone boot. I absolutely despise the company for not honoring or helping with their overpriced product.I don’t recommend and wish I could get my money back. I can’t even get an email back.

The original order got lost and its replacement was late. During the install, the aluminum adapter separated from the silicone coupler hose. Tech support said they would replace it, haven't gotten it yet. The kit came with 2 clamps not 3 as pictured. I found a clamp that I had on hand so I could finish install by using it to hold the aluminum adapter in place. I have no faith that the replacement coupler will hold up as the glue was not applied correctly.I just drove the car with it and I really like the product. Car feels stronger. But the kit is pricey for it to come apart so easily.
