Broken
The wind up part of the mobile ended up breaking after just 6 months of off and on use. Already having to buy a new one.

Not a sturdy fit, or design.
Easily dismounted. Claw design is not a good fit for my 'rectangular' designed crib. Feel a rounded design would be even worse. Dangerous, even.

Music needs to be wound every two minutes

Don't bother, doesn't hold mobile
I tried this on multiple items (bassinet, rocker, etc). It simply does not support the weight of a mobile or a single hanging toy. It will fall onto your baby's face and I would consider it a hazard.

You get what you pay for...
I was gifted a mobile for my baby shower, but it didn't include the whole apparatus. I found this one and thought it was a good deal, but it isn't all it's cracked up to be. It feels very cheap, and I'm afraid to tighten it any more than it is cause it feels like it'll snap into pieces. The small music box only plays for about 1 minute at a time before you have to go rewind it again. It's good for overall looks (staging a photo shoot, etc), but don't purchase if you actually plan on using it as a means of entertainment for a newborn.

No need to use batteries
This is a clockwork toy, the mobile arm can hold the crib firmly
