I bought this as a new sketchbook. I was a little surprised when it turned out to be a notebook/journal, but that doesn't really bother me too much. It's been great for drawing. The color is nice and it keeps stickers on the cover pretty well. I haven't used pen on it yet, but from what I've seen so far, pencil doesn't really seem to bleed through too much unless you press super hard on the paper. It's super convenient to carry around because of it's small size, and the pencil holder has really helped with preventing me from losing pencils. Overall, really nice notebook/journal/sketchbook.

This is a very good value for a journal and has lots of pages. Paper quality is nice and can handle just about any kind of ink pen you want to use. The cover is also flexible, which makes it a very versatile writing companion. I have lots of journals, but this one is just about perfect.

Paper quality is surprisingly excellent for a low cost journal. After testing out several pens in several A5 journals (Moleskine to Amz Basics) I settled on using Pilot G-2 either 0.5 or 0.38 tip for a pen to keep in provided loop because it gets absorbed into paper without smearing. I first ordered from this company a much smaller A5 journal with pre# pages that was only 150 or so pages for a project and it held up well being tossed around. Then I ordered this 316+ page journal with pre numbered pages to try out for writing 3 pages a day of “Morning Pages” so I could have 1/4 of the year in one book. It worked so well I ordered 3 more in same color to finish the year. PS: I still like the Amz Basics A5 journals in grid instead of lines. The paper of those is good, but not as good as this journal.

This is the perfect notebook! I purchased it for use at my job, property management. Loved it so much that I got a second one!Size: b5 & I love it. I can fit so many things on one page & it's not bulky or heavy, so having it in my bag doesn't hinder my ability carry it or pack more of my stuff in the bag alongsideThe pages are thick enough to handle felt tip fine liners and the spacing is just right.The numbered pages & index make ot perfect for my notes/as a reference book.Thr cover is a softer, but sturdy, leather-likr material that not only protects the pages, but enables you to easily fold if you need more space on your desk. The little strap hold it in place as well, which I've never been able to do with past notebooks.The pocket in the back is made of thick paper so it can hold quite a bit.It's an attractive notebook that helps me stay organized! Not to mention, I feel more confident with it at work because anytime I have one of those moments where you just can't seem to remember how to do something, it's right there for me to look through.

Quality materials!Feels like a genuine leather cover; soft and smooth. The pages are a light cream color, the lines are light but noticeable, the pages are thicker and quality. Comes with dividers.Overall I really love this product! I use it to write my short and long term goals. I go back in to add the dates that I have accomplished each goal. Helps keep me organized. I will never purchase a journal/notebook elsewhere.

I have purchased so many journals in my lifetime, I don't even want to admit how many. It feels like I am on the never-ending search to find the perfect journal at the perfect price point (aren't we all?). Let me tell you how I'm using my journal and what I like about it so far.I wanted a journal to keep a reading diary where I can maintain a reading log each time I read, write down summaries of the books I'm reading, keep general notes about the books, etc. I typically use three primary pens in my journals: Muji gel pens, Pigma Microns, and the Uni Jetstream. So far, I have had no issues with ghosting or bleed-through with the Muji and Microns. I was impressed by this! (If you are unaware, ghosting is when you can see a shadow of the ink on the underside of the page. Bleed-through is when the ink actually seems through to the other side of the page.) The Uni Jetstream is definitely the "juiciest" pen that I use and I do see a good amount of shadowing, but I expected this with 100 GSM paper. Even my journal with 120 GSM has ghosting with this pen. I also use Tombow Brush Pens and saw no ghosting/bleed-through.The construction of the journal is very decent for the cost. It has two ribbon bookmarks, numbered pages, an elastic band to keep the journal closed or mark your page, and an elastic pen holder. The binding is constructed such that the journal can be open and lay completely flat, which is a feature that I love about it. The leather cover also feels like solid quality and it came wrapped in plastic. It would make a great gift!

This journal is amazing. I love the thickness of the pages and how big it is. My only gripe is that the cover itself doesn't seem to be the best quality or the sturdiest. Nothing has happened to it, but it doesn't give me too much confidence. Beyond that, it's a great journal!

I usually write with gel inks, and it's perfect, no ink runs or smudges, the sheet is quite thick and smooth; the colour is beautiful and it's a good size just as described.

Better than I expected. Bulky enough to be present and perfect size and feel to write in. It opens out flat so it's easy to use both sides to write on. Has page numbers for those who are organized 😁. Love the size, color, shape and function.
