This is one great ice pack. Our family is big on ice packs. In fact, half our freezer is filled with various types for our various types of aches and pains! We also like to use them to cool down in the heat since our home doesn't have a/c. I got this one for my daughter, who has low back pain from working long hours. She said it's the best one of all the ones in our freezer. She particularly loves how it straps on securely, and it stays cold much longer than the others we have. Her back feels great the next morning after using this and getting a good night's sleep. In fact, I'm ordering a second one so she can have one at her apartment and one at our house, which she stays at when she works her second job. That's great for me, who will be using it when she stays at her appartment!

This was purchased to use at night in bed due to major hip pain. It is thin enough to lay with comfortably and keeps cold a decent amount of time. Some others stay cold longer, but this worked exceptionally well for us. It is a good size for coverage and will fold up nicely for compact storage in the freezer.

I have been using this to ice the outside of my ankle joint after years of using bags of ice and other gel pads for the same purpose. I really like how the 3 compartments fold to give better contact on the ankle and how the velcro straps STRECH so that I can put it in awkward positions and the straps can be used to hold it in place regardless. The only thing I don't like is that it starts out very cold...but after 20 minutes it loses most of it's cold...this is not a defect...it is designed to be kept on 20 minutes...but I like to go longer. Will have to get a second one! :D Update...got a second one for the other ankle and knee....excellent product that conforms to the joins, stays in place...I walk around with it on my ankle... and holds up over time. Get one...you won't be disappointed EDIT...now on my third one as these have become a family tool and I need to insure there's always one left in the freezer! Just this past week we used them on a bicep tear, lower back disc/nerve pain and my ankle. The straps and flexibility make all the difference.

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!! The engineered design of this item is such a disappointment! I have purchased other products this year with no problems. I am a 5-year fan of The Coldest Water ice packs; however, the engineered design changed between 2024-now. The amount of gel has been reduced significantly, therefore the pack does not stay cold more than 10 minutes. I purchased the same item in 2020 and it stays cold for over an hour. It should be removed from Amazon as an item to purchase for its fraudulent claims to stay cold. It does not deserve one star.

Great ice pack for injuries. It cools fast and is comfortable to wear. The only downside is the Velcro on the cooling pad. I feel it will start becoming weak and won’t hold in place after so many uses. It would be cool if they made one out of strong magnets that could last forever.

I'm an amputee with severe nerve damage. For some reason, icing my limb in the evenings seems to help with the pain that I have, and this product just might be the best ice pack that I've ever used. The material is durable, just holding one of these in your hands, you can feel the difference between this pack and the other inexpensive ones. The pack stays ice cold for roughly 30 minutes, but that might vary from user to user, and 30 minutes is enough time to bring me some great relief. These seem to freeze up pretty quickly, I'd estimate roughly an hour before it's ready to be used again. I've tried several products, but this one seems to be the very best I've used to date. It's nice to have the ability to directly place the product and keep it there with the included straps, which are quite durable. If you use an ice pack product on a daily basis, something like this would be right up your alley. I'd recommend it without reservation and would easily purchase it again.

This pack works really well. The flexibility to use for cold application or for hot really makes it useful after a strenuous soccer game. The velcro strap makes it useful for those hard to apply icepack sections like my shoulder blades or lower back. My wife is a dancer and she uses the pack to relieve her back after a tap/ballet class. She loves the velcro strap and is impressed with the lifetime of the pack ability to stay cold. I would recommend this product for anyone with muscle soreness or even migraine headaches(I have wrapped it in a towel and laid over my face for some sinus/headache relief, probably not what it was meant for but I figured it was worth a try).

I bought this because I had a great experience with their ankle wrap. I got this product to use on my shoulder. It's a great idea. It's easy to position and it stays in place well. My only complaint is that some of the gel packs aren't full enough. One end of it seems to be full while the other is almost empty. This limits the effectiveness of the device. I chalk that up to poor quality control. I probably should have returned it, but wasn't up to the hassle of doing that.
