Would a ups,usps,fedex, or a amazon driver know what this is?

I've been working with as a delivery driver for Amazon for about a year now. Although this is a great idea, I personally wouldn't give two thoughts about it. Simple instructions like place box in Bin and close I would do. Takes only a few sec. But spending time scanning extra and trying to figure out this device would eat up alot of time. We deliver 250-300 packages a day. Roughly 200 stops spread out. That's about 20-30 stops per hour depending on the weather. We can't afford to spend more then 30 sec to a min per stop.

This seems like a great idea, but delivery people flat out refuse to use it even with a sign with instructions. How do I get them to use it?

I created a "Let my carriers know" form and waited about a month with no joy. The delivery people either don't know what it is or refuse to use it. Plus the scanner is very difficult to use. I don't blame the poor delivery person with 275 deliveries that day for not wanting to fiddle with the lock just to get the scanner to work. The lock can even refuse to lock if not done exactly right. This device is too finicky.

Well with a bolt cutter under the hoodie seems pretty easy to bypass? Or carry off the container unless had metal bolted to concrete?

The bolt cutter would have to be a very good one as I believe the lock has a case hardened shackle. As to the latter part of your question, I bolted my box to the concrete with half inch concrete anchors. That makes it pretty secure.
