I purchased this cowl after thoroughly reading the reviews for it. Some of the reviews featured photos that sort of gave me an idea as to how this thing would fit on my head. I have a really big noggin and was worried that this thing wouldn't fit me. To a degree I was correct, because this puppy is tight on my head, but it isn't so tight that I can't stand it. In fact, it's rather comfortable once you wear it for a little while.My mouth stretches a bit while wearing this thing, and it makes me look angry and/or depressed most of the time. Refer to the photo if you don't believe me. One of my friends noticed this and asked the obvious, "Why so serious?" question. I simply replied, "Batman has probably always been the happiest guy in the room, but you wouldn't know because his mask stretches his face tighter than Kim Kardashian's pants! The poor guy couldn't smile if he wanted to!" That got a few laughs.I stuffed the ears with cotton to keep them from folding over and to fill them out a bit. The mask attaches in the back with Velcro, so if you want to really keep the illusion of it being a full mask, I highly suggest wearing a black skullcap or even black panty hose over your head (with the face cut out, obviously). Hearing is a bit muffled, but not so much that you end up screaming at everybody while you speak to them.Also, the neck piece curls up on me every single time that I look down.Overall it isn't a bad cowl to wear. With just a few slight modifications around the mouth and eyes (you may or may not have to trim them to fit your face), and possibly widening up the nose holes a bit, this mask is perfect for a Halloween party or even a quick costume for a comic convention.If you're looking to go cheap but still want to look reasonably cool, buy this mask.

For a full head mask, this rubber mask beats out cheaper kids' masks or drawstring cloth ones, but it won't look as good as the photos imply when you get it. The seller I bought it from sent it loose in an unpadded envelope and the nose was as bent as any badly-beaten boxer. The ears also were a bit flattened and unfortunately, the rubber is rather insistent on maintaining these deformities once they are applied. Also, it is very roomy, even when the velcro tabs in the back are fastened. I am not exactly a pinhead (hat size 7 ¼) but I apparently have a tiny enough noggin that it soon became clear that this "one size" mask was not meant to encompass all sizes and shapes of head/face combos. It was both too tall and too wide for me. I ended up having to rip the velco off, cut an inch and a half of rubber off and sew the velcro back on, but while that fixed the loose fit, it also created a noticeable "poofing out" of the now extra rubber on top of the mask that I will have to figure out how to flatten out with as little further damage to the material as possible. I also had to cut out some cardboard inserts to place in the ears and nose and stuff the ears with something to fill them out (I will have to stuff the nose with something too, as my nose is also apparently on the small side) to hopefully persuade the rubber to get back to the more desirable, original shape. I may have to apply some hair dryer heat to it while the forms are in. So, overall as good a mask as you can expect for the price, but the fit will vary from perfect to useless, depending on your individual body shape and willingness to put in extra work to alter the fit.

This thing had a lot of bad reviews but it was just a bunch of whiners. I ordered this thing expecting that i may have to return it. I built a movie accurate costume and the mask was great. It wraps all the way around and velcos in the back snuggly. I'm 6'5" and have a good size head. People who say they couldn't get the mask on are crazy. I got it on no problrm and it was still a little baggy in front but not noticeable to anyone but me. Same with mishaped eye wholes. Yes they were different but no one could tell but me. Very small difference. The mask does come squashed up in a flat box. But for the price i paid i wouldn't expect top notch packaging. I bought a stiro foam head and cut some cardboard chunks for the nose and ears to make sure the shape stayed the way i wanted. So i was really happy with it. Also this mask gets super hot because it's all latex so I'd prepare your self for that

Was a little tight at first but since then it’s gotten easier to put on so I think it may have stretched a little. Good durability, looks just like the movie, feels good to wear, just a little tight so talking is harder. Smells like rubber, not obnoxious though

Good batman mask! Not exactly like his mask in the dark knight or the dark knight rises. It is exactly like the one bruce wears in Batman begins, just dont try to headbutt anyone with it on haha. The main issue I had with it was the way it fit, but hear me out. I have a small head. I got a custom made hat before and I wear a size 7 1/8. It was very loose on my head and my face didnt fit up to the chin hole. I simply solved this problem by wearing a beanie underneath. Voila! Perfect fit. If theres any misshaping that occurred (from them having to stuff it in a fedex box) simply use a blowdryer and pull/push the crease out (will NOT do any major changes, it will just take care of any accidental bending that happened.) Its a great mask, and will definitely be the focal point of my batsuit! Just remember if you have a small head, just wear a hat under it! 5 stars.
