This is a very affordable metal screen pop filter in the style (if not slightly larger) than the Stedman, the Gator, and several others. It works well and it's cheaper than all the rest of them. I'll tell you a secret too, you know those Hakan $100 pop filters with the "magic" foam pads? Two words: aquarium filters. Just look for ML350 compatible filters, get some super-thin gardening or hobby wire (black if you can), hold this to the back of the pop filter, run wires through it and twisty-tie the wires, use some sharp scissors to cut out the shape to fit the metal filter and boom, you've got yourself a super-custom metal AND sponge foam pop filter for WAY cheaper than the Hakan (at least while this 512 is on sale).

Why spend more? This is built sturdy and does the job well.

This pop filter works very well, and the build quality is superb for the cost. Lightweight and stays where you put it.

Nice mesh pop screen which does a nice job of dealing with plosives, sibilance, etc. Would be 5 stars but the gooseneck is a bit weak so it can be difficult to position the screen exactly where you want it but once in place it performs well. Good price as well compared to similar pop screens.

This works great in my studio at a real savings. Plosives are suppressed very well, and sound remains perfectly clear. Way nicer than the typical panty hose nylon pop filters. It's also semi transparent so I can see past it.

Not a whole lot to say: this is a simple device that uses an age-old design that is known to work. Good clamping, gooseneck keeps pop filter where you put it.
