When I unboxed the throne, the first thing I grabbed was the legs and all could say was "WOW!" Very sturdy and nicely constructed. The rest of the unboxing was just as positive. Very easy to assemble. No tools required. One large wing nut and washer for the adjustable backrest. Very comfortable! I couldn't be happier! The red stitching on the black really sets it off and matches my Alesis strike pro se set lol! Really, I couldn't be happier with this throne. The hydraulic lift is smooth and powerful. Tremendous value for the money!

This thing is extremely comfy. I am super happy w my purchase. Soft and yummy texture too.

I'm a bass player and I prefer to play sitting. Most chairs or stools are OK but not that great for a long jam session. I can sit on this BASS Throne :-) to be super comfortable. I jammed for 5 hours and was ready for more! The back rest really makes it.The one issue I have with this throne is, once you put the seat on the gas cylinder, it doesn't come back off. The legs fold up which is great but I could not take the seat back off. I tried some penetrating oil, but no good. Suffice to say it is staying at my house for my home studio use.

The chair fabric was a microfiber type with vinyl and gel type padding, stitching around backrest was awful and it was missing hardware that bolt backrest to throne, and the seat part pinches onto post there is no wing screw to take apart, it slips on but to get it off you need to use a rubber mallet, not great for setting up and breaking down. Otherwise I didn't get a chance to use it, but I did sit on the seat and it was comfortable for the 5 sec I sat on it, the stitching on seat was better then backrest.

I bought this chair about two years ago and found it to be very comfortable and sturdy. The seat does not come off so it is not very portable. My biggest issue though, is that the seat is sinking. The hydrolic cylinder is going out and I have no way of contacting the company. They even state on their products to contact them if you have any questions but leave no contact information. I searched for them online and could not find any Web site or contact info. There seems to be no way to contact them and no customer service at all.

This drum throne is perfect. It’s simple toPut together, easy to adjust height and great support all around. Also the price was excellent.

I like the comfort and ease of use but dislike the tipping hazard.
