Works well - why would anyboby buy a conventional dryer when heat pump dryers are this cheap?
This thing dries clothes perfectly and aspects such as the water collection chamber are well designed and easy to use.If you do the maths based upon the energy savings when compared to a conventional dryer (with a heating element) then this thing pays for itself in a couple of years (based upon a normal families usage). One thing to note though: Despite what the Amazon description says this ISN'T supplied with a drain hose - you have to buy that separately (if you want one - it's entirely optional).

Waste of money worst machine I’ve ever had
Waste of money worst machine I have ever had I wished I had never purchased this. I purchased it in September. Didn’t use it until end of October as I was hanging my washing out when it was nice but it doesn’t dry or doesn’t get hot. It takes three hours to dry a full load of washing when I had Hoover engineer out he told me that is the thing with heat pumps. They do take this long but I’ve had it on for three hours and you can still put your hand in there and it’s barely warm. I’m so disappointed with this product. Avoid buying it at all cost as now I am going to be in a position where I need to sell mine and I purchased the matching mushroom machine which is very good at a heat pump tumble dryer unless you’ve got three hours to dry your items and that cooler then don’t bother

Does the job and cheap to run
Here is my review after 3 months of ownership.I personally think this is a great tumble drier for the price. The main selling point for me was the heat pump technology. Like everyone else , I did my research online about the best type of tumble drier to get, Vented vs Condenser vs Heat Pump. This heatpump is much cheaper to run over a traditional vented or condenser.I have a smart plug attached to this to monitor the power usage and one load uses less then 1KW of electricityI use it for bedding and towels. I simply put it on the all in one setting and let it do it's thing. It comes up on the display saying 3 hours 55 minutes run time, but this machine has dry sense technology (so it knows when your clothes are dry) and is usually done in less than two hours. If you want a tumble dryer that won't cost a fortune to run, then buy this one

Long Drying Time
Works reasonably when you get used to long drying times. To get best out of it needs to be in reasonably warm room so not best garage choice

Exceeded my expectations so far
I’ve had this since the beginning of the month so still early days, but what I’ve seen, I’ve liked.I read differing reviews and did general research about heat pump dryers. They do take a little longer than condensers and are slightly noisier; but not as much as what I had anticipated from reading other accounts. It’s incredibly simple to use, the water collection is much easier to carry than the tray I had in my old machine. The double filter is easy to keep clean too.Clothes come out dry, which is the main purpose! On this basis I’d recommend.

Takes 3 cycles to dry! Waste of time!
Terrible dryer. A load of towels, in line with the recommended weight will take in excess of 6 hours plus to dry, over two cycles most the time three. Absolutely ridiculous. Do not recommend at all. Look for an alternative. Fairly quiet, looks good, cheap to run, just negates the need of cheap to run when it takes three times as long. Rubbish.

Quiet? not really, Easy to use? well yes and no..
After various issues with getting this delivered (thank you amazon delivery team for so many problems!! seems every delivery is a chore!)Put in place, got all connected up and downloaded app and connected to WiFi, registered for warranty and bang, ready to put first load in..Ok seems simple enough, turn the dial to what you want to do, or use the smart software to give you your ideal settings, but there is a "all-in-one" option that seems to use sensors and other razmataz to do it for you, so why do you need so many programs on the machine, and so many customisable ones, well seems that "all-in-one" isn't.. its "general but not full energy efficient" and can sometimes leave clothing damp, so yes make sure you use the right program for the right job.Second thing.. when you first start the machine it has an annoying what I would say is a rubbing/friction sound with a "tick" after every rotation of the drum, then it pauses and auto reverses, this goes on for the first 7-10 mins of the cycle, then it seems to get up to operating temperature and be ok, maybe its the way the heat source pump works or something but I've taken it out, I've checked online and even Hoover's site said it may do this for the first few cycles... well I'm on about cycle 100 and its still doing it.. I am tempted to call for a repair already, but its working, so is it broke? dunno to be honest, but behind a closed door its quiet enough. The only real annoyance I have is everytime the cycle finishes the app goes "Don't forget to clean your filter!" like FFS I know I need to do it, BOTH of them, and then the 3rd one every 6 months...I know things are built for idiots nowadays but would it be too much to ask to have an option to turn this off in the app but not have to turn off "ALL" notifications..Well its still running so hopefully will last me longer than 10 years that my last one did.
