I bought this because it was "cheap" and looked "good enough" but you know what, this thing is actually pretty nice. It's stable enough for its footprint. The quality is pretty good. It looks nice too. It JUST fits my large laptop. I guess my only complaint is It might be nice to have screw holes to firmly attach it to a wood surface so it doesn't get accidentally knocked off. A very minor issue if it even is an issue. Solid buy.

It holds my 15" macbook air rock steady, zero wobble, and the rubber base means it's not going anywhere on my desk. I was worried initially because the large MBA is really thin but big, so I was concerned that it would wobble or be off balance if sitting vertically. ZERO issues with that. This stand is rock solid. The whole thing has that dense, cold-to-the-touch feel of actual quality aluminum, not the hollow nonsense you usually get at this price.
