I bought these pants for an upcoming trip to Finland. As such, I can’t speak to how cold hardy they are yet. But from a fashion perspective, I will say they are stylish and I won’t hesitate to wear them out to dinner while on our trip. They feel quite warm due to the fleece lining which does not overly bulk up the pants. As far as fit, I am 5’2” and weigh 143 lbs. I’m not a round shape, somewhat fit. As such, the size 10 fit perfectly. If necessary, I will be able to fit a base layer beneath them with no problem. The leg length is long, of course, given my height. But because the ankles are somewhat tapered, there is no drag. This will make them acceptable for the plane ride if I so choose because the legs won’t drag on the airplane toilet room floor. Also, the narrower leg opening let’s them fit snugly at the top of the footwear so it’ll also keep the legs warm I’m assuming. Would buy again.

Size is accurate. The fleece lining is warm but not thick or cumbersome. 5 pockets all zip for security. They’re a little long but that’s so they cover boots and keep snow out I’ll just fold them up a little to wear back and forth to the gym this winter. These are going to keep me cozy!

MATERIAL:Wonderful material that isn’t too loud when you walk. Seems to be wind resistant. I’m returning mine so I didn’t test out the water resistance part. Fleece lining isn’t super thick so you won’t get too hot on a chilly day, should stay fairly warm on a cold day, but I’d add a layer underneath for a frigidly cold day.POCKETS:I’m a mechanic that also deals with customers. I use my pockets a lot (pen, penlight, small tools) but I don’t want cargo pockets that protrude out. I specifically got these for the warmth and flat leg pockets on BOTH sides. The placement of the leg pockets is odd though. The bottom part of the pocket is down by your knee. To get anything out, you have to bend slightly at the waist. I was looking for something higher up and not angled as much.FIT:The pants fit true to size. I’m normally a 10/12 or Large in pants. I have thick thighs, a large butt, and “birthin’ hips” (shoutout to my grandma for letting me know my hips are made for birthing babies 🙃) I got an XL. They fit comfortably in all of my larger areas with a little breathing room. They weren’t too tight like leggings would hug ya, but not too loose that they felt baggy.**if you plan on wearing a layer underneath, I would size up. Even with the true to size fit, I don’t think I could’ve added another layer comfortably.CONS:They’re pretty low cut in the back so when you bend over or squat down, you give the people behind you a crack showing, free of charge (I guess you could charge ahead of time. That’s up to you). Even while wearing the ugly belt they come with, it’s still cut too low. In the short time I wore them, I was constantly pulling them up in the back. For that reason alone, I’m returning them. Working 10 hour days, pulling them up all day would get old real quick. Everything else was fine and I could’ve adjusted to the leg pocket placement in time.If your hips/butt aren’t as much of a ‘wide load’ as mine, these may fit better in the back.

Very impressed with the quality of these pants. The fit is excellent. Stretches with me, but not too snug. The waistband doesn’t have any gaps which I love the zipper pockets are a bonus. Very happy with my purchase.

I was so excited about these pants they are super comfortable. The length was great for a short girl. But not waterproof. I had some cold wet buns after sitting in the snow lol

My girlfriend bought these and she is 5'1" and 117 lbs (athletic/muscular build), bought a medium based on reviews saying that these pants run large-- and they were way, way too big around the waist.We could literally stick our 13lb cat in there too and still have extra room to eat a salty burger. Can pull them on and off without unbuttoning them, about 6 inches too large around the waist. They have some elastic on the sides to stretch also, which makes them even bigger. They are a little long, but hey, longer is better than too short for tall people and is fine to go over boots or hem it (all pants are long on her anyways).Overall, these pants are warm, comfortable, and perfect for winter weather. They look good butt/legs down, though the waist part is very high and looks more like guys' pants there (eh who cares, shirts/jackets cover up that part). They go pretty high and sit at waist height (this may be because she is very short though and pulling them up so they drag less on the floor). They drag 1-2 inches on the floor on her height, but plan to tuck them into boots, so no big deal.I would say if you normally wear a small (size 0 or 2 pants), don't hesitate to get a small. If you are in the L/XL+ size range, then size up based on what other reviewers said to do.Update: We returned and got size small. These fit loosely, could still pull on and off without unbuttoning but wearable and a good loose fit. Can easily put another layer of yoga/stretchy pants underneath the small for layers for cold weather and still feel comfortable in the small. Going to keep these, and highly recommend buying them!!!

I don’t ever want to take these off. They are so comfortable and you don’t need to wear thermals or anything like that underneath.

I'm a womens size large, but bought extra large because often stuff sold by third party sellers is too small. Well, these are too big. I'm not going to reorder the next size down, because they don't look like womens's pants at all... they look to fit like a mens. The legs are much wider than shown on the model. The sewn in tag says size 36, and that sounds like a mens size to me.Size aside, the pants are nice looking and appear well made. If I was a men's size 36 I would definitely keep them.

Are these even women's? This is my third pair I bought, and they're all the same...huge in the waist and so tight in the butt and thighs that wearing them would defeat the purpose they fit like tight jeans. So disappointed. I usually wear a women's size ten. I ordered a 36 based on reviews and they ended up massive on the waist but still too tight for my thick thighs. No stretch-So annoying.
