Bought this flag pole two months ago and while I was out to dinner with my daughter a storm came thru the area and snapped it in half, Came home to find the Stars and Stripes on the ground. I am not happy at all, I realize that if there is a bad storm going to hit my area I need to take the flags down but not possible when I'm not home and there is no severe weather warnings. For two months I was happy with this flag pole but not so much now. I will never purchase it again. Guess I'll need to find a better flag pole this time.

I think these guys really tried, but this is not a great product. The machine-work required to make the sections of the flagpole fit together is shoddy. The paint easily scratches off the pole itself and the gold 'ball' ornament at the end of the pole detracts.It's also very difficult to adjust the flag position (for half-staff occasions). Not at all happy with this purchase.

If you are looking for something that holds up like a lead pipe - this isn't what you are looking for. If you want something that works well - and you plan to take it down when a strong wind comes up - this will work fine. Pole is in three sections, that just friction fit together. Tape or crimp if you don't want the bottom section to fall off when you remove it from the base plate/flag pole bracket. The no tangle feature - actually works. It swivels as the flag tries to rap around the pole - and keeps it from getting wrapped up. This is not a heavy duty pole by any means, but it works just fine otherwise.

This was a waste. Won't stay together and doesn't fit snug in the standard pole holder. End cap doesn't stay on and my poor flag spent more time on the ground than in the air. Oh well.

Have had to unwrap my flag a couple of times a day every day since i put it up. If you plan on putting this flag outside you will have to buy a different bracket. The bracket that it comes with is very flimsy and will bend over in the wind I’m talking 10mph wind. If the flag gets wet then it will bend the bracket over in a 5 mph wind. The flag and pole are nice but the bracket is not good for outdoor use.

Top immediately fell off and that keeps the flag on the pole. Terrible design. Had to use glue to keep it together before I even put the flag on. The plastic pieces that connect to the flag do not move very freely so the flag is always wrapped around the pole. The metal connection to the wall bent during a storm so I had to buy a higher quality base. You're throwing money away with this flag pole. Spend more for higher quality. I'm replacing mine after a few months. Not a 1 star only because of price.1/7/18 update: The metal clips are rusting and ruining the flag, and the metal pole is rusting at the connection. If you buy this, save time and change the shipping address to your local municipal dump because that is where this will end up in a few months anyways.
