With its tumbled leathers, padded collars and casual design, the Dunham Highland Park men's lace-up casual sneaker fits innumerable occasions. And thanks to its many widths and sizes, it fits almost as many feet. Seam-sealed waterproof leather repels moisture to keep feet dry and comfortable. The fiberglass stability shank embedded into midsole supports the arch and helps create a smoother gait. While a TRU-TRAK® multi-directional outsole grip configuration provides maximum traction and surface contactSporty, yet laid back, theDunham Highland Park is a timeless classic. This Dunham casual lace oxford is built to handle the elements, with a waterproof leather upper, sealed internal seams, and a sturdy rubber traction sole. Comfort and support are key elements of the design, which includes a firm cushioning EVA midsole, extra shock absorbing pods in the heel and forefoot, and a full-length removable cushion insert. A fiberglass shank provides good arch support and encourages a smooth gait (it's airport-friendly too), and rollbar technology adds rearfoot stability. With its rich leather and sporty overlays, this shoe is no slouch in the style department either. See all Product description

Extremely comfortable, good support, and finally a shoe wide enough for my feet.
I have always liked New Balance / Dunham shoes since they have the width I need plus they have good arch support for my high arches. I jumped on these when I saw they had 6E width. I have always worn 4E but needed wider, so would always go a half size up. With 6E, I could finally buy my true size.Needless to say, these are extremely comfortable. They are rugged enough and provide enough support for light hiking, too, plus are waterproof, and I can still wear them to work.

Buy em !!!
Wonderful shoes, had a number of medium price and expensive (on sale) shoes including the Danish Ecco, but kept wearing them down on the outside. Most of these, almost every one, could not have the heel repaired. Drove home to Toronto and bought a pair of these at the Hudson's Bay store in London Ontario (I was driving from Tulsa). Wanted shoes I could waterproof as I had no boots for the expected high snow. Shoveled high snow in my sister-in-law's driveway for two or three hours. Water did not penetrate. Got back home and decide to spruce up these shoes with polish and thought, they look pretty good. This was about 2010-11. Have been using them ever since, for yard work now as I bought another pair from Amazon and wear them daily, even for events a little more formal than casual dress. I could shine up the yard shoes and wear them if I wanted too.Just excellent.

excellent shoes
I have been having problems with the outside of my left foot since an injury a year ago. I gave up on trying to wear dress shoes for work. I have been hobbling along in New Balance Country Walker motion control shoes, even with a business suit, all year. I found these shoes on NB website. They work! They are dressier that my current shoes. After I added my arch supports they are very comfortable shoes. No pain on the outside of my foot and no heel pain (I struggle with plantar fascitis off and on as well). Good motion control dress shoe for SL-2 New Balance running shoe wearers .

Nice shoe, very supportive. BTW, this is the 8001 model (Windsor)
Not sure why these are listed as the Highland Park (which doesn't show up on Dunham's website). The box that came said Windsor (8001). They are mostly true to size, but the toe box is a little tight, so if you are close on a size, you might want to go 1/2 size larger. I ordered my normal size and there is a slight pressure on my left big toe, otherwise fine. That might go away as they wear in. Otherwise, the shoe is very supportive and is doing wonders for my low arch/chronic Achilles problems. A nice bonus is they come with an extra set of laces! There have been some comments about the sole coming unglued. I will be watching for this and will post an update if I see this problem within the 1st year.

VERY NICE
My husband has high arches, and very wide - 4E feet. He has trouble finding any shoes, in store, that will fit. I ordered two pair - the Highland Park and the Midland Oxford by Dunham. Both shoes were of very high quality. He chose the Highland Park because they had more cushion = felt better to walk in, and felt a little better quality. Other then the price being a little higher then other shoes he's purchased, we are hoping the quality will last longer and make them well worth the investment.

I love these shoes
I love these shoes. Seriously. I bought a pair a few years ago, and they lasted me through full time jobs frying chicken, working in a transmission shop, and in a warehouse. My old pair are, of course, fairly destroyed at this point. From what I've seen so far, the build quality hasn't changed a ton, but I'm also not putting them through near the same amount of torture as previously. A few months in, though, and no problems yet.

Great quality, a bit narrow for a 4E
These would be a 5 star shoe if the width ran true. I've worn size8 4E in the Dunham shoes for years, love them, incredibly comfortable. These shoes are very well made and reasonably comfortable but I can tell you they are a bit too snug in the width. The size, other than the width, feels right. No way should this be called a 4E, closer to a 2E. Wish I had returned them for a 6E. Guess that's the price for making them in China now.

Amazing Shoes
My feet have two characteristics that Dunham Highland Park shoes address quite well.1. My feet are BIG size 12's, and these shoes look very nice without making it appear as if I am wearing gunboats on my feet.2. My fee are very bad, requiring custom orthotics and maximum support in all directions. Like all Dunham and New Balance shoes, these have that with stiff soles, RollBar support, and plenty of room to accommodate the inserts.I couldn't be happier . . . I now have all three colors and wear them daily in my business.

Not new, sole insert is worn and used.
The shoes appear new, but the sole insert is obviously used and generic. It is not a Dunham sole insert.

2nd time to order these to replace a pair I had ordered almost 2 yr ago. Comfortable, well-made, that work for my every day and Sunday needs.

Motion control doesn't work for me in this model == pinched nerve in my ankle
I have to wear New Balance and Dunham motion control shoes to combat a pinched nerve in my ankle. With these on, my ankle started hurting immediately.

Great!
My husband bought these to help one of his feet that was hurting. They are very comfortable and he is able to wear them all day at work without any pain.

Tight for 6E
First fit is a little tight getting into the shoe; I don't believe it is a true 6E; feels like a 4E but is marked as 6E.
