Love it. This is actually the second one I’ve bought. I’m using it specifically for travelling. The travel case it comes with is very nice and I’ve never seen anyone make a better travel case than Gillette. I have no idea if the exfoliating bar works but the blades do wonders. Compared to anything else on the market these blades last longer. The metal/rubber/plastic design of the razor itself feels extra premium. This is a luxury product as the blades go anywhere from 4.44-6 dollars each. Gillette says it gets you 20 shaves. I get about 23 until it’s uncomfortable. This razor is the closest shave I’ve ever gotten. The blade will still cut me in my sensitive neck areas sometimes if I’m not careful but most of the time it’s smooth and you don’t feel it. I pair this with Gillette labs rapid foaming gel because it’s the only gel that doesn’t have extra ingredients that irritate my skin. And it still has menthol. I currently use the Gillette labs rapid absorbing moisturizer(basically doubles as an aftershave balm) along with Gillette skin guard moisturizer for my entire face afterwards. This regimen seems to keep my face nice, smooth and moisturized throughout the day. My stubble also grows back thicker due to the extra close shaves. If you like effortless shaves or fast efficient comfortable shaves this is for you. It is a luxury as there are cheaper ways to get the job done but if you budget accordingly and enjoy your experience with it it’s well worth it. This is a great gift for someone to upgrade their shave. If you’re not sure just get the single razor and cartridge bundle and see if it’s right for you. When I first bought this razor I thought I was wasting my money. I was not. I found a sleek and elegant razor paired with the best shave gel I’ve ever tried. Gillette has all this controversy about their 2019 commercial and it’s super annoying. Men apparently have to have their egos stroked 24/7 to be satisfied with a product. Not me. I’ve seen men do great things and terrible things. I always have room to grow. This is a product for men who want simplicity, an extremely close shave, and luxury mixed in with their morning routine. Self care is important, and while these aren’t the cheapest or least wasteful razors and blades on the planet, they will get you excited to shave, and I highly recommend them, especially if you’re looking for luxury and aren’t ready for safety razors yet.

It's not just sharp for the first few times, but maintains its performance for weeks. This is a boon for someone like me, who's often away for 2-3 weeks at a stretch. No more blade changes in the middle of my trips!----Adaptive Design: The 2D FlexDisc design ensures that the razor contours to the face perfectly. This means every stroke is both comfortable and effective, even on the trickiest parts of the face.----Cost-Effective: Despite its high performance, it falls into one of the more affordable categories, making it a bang for the buck.The biggest drawback for this otherwise impeccable razor is its packaging. I found myself battling with the "travel case," which was a fortress in itself. It took some hefty force with a screwdriver to get it open, a sentiment echoed by many other users. For now, it earns a deserving 4 stars from me!

For anyone wondering whether or not to splurge and get the version with the travel case, the answer for users who actually travels is a resounding NO. When choosing which version to purchase, one should objectively value the bulky useless travel case at zero dollars and zero cents. I tossed this joke of a travel case straight into where it belongs - the trash. Gillette should get accolades for the lesson in effective marketing gimmickry, however, in the long run it is not a sound or respectable strategy to retain customers. ----- A better value is to get the one with four blades instead.The blade is ok. Let's see how the experience goes after a few months.P.S. The also have another scam like "value enhancer" which is unlikely to be an intentional typo rather than something real - the "Premium" Magnetic Stand vs the "Ravor Stand." Again zero explanation anywhere, but why explain when you can just charge more for non-realizable temporary perceived value (until the item arrives or you forget) ?!?!
