SMALLRIG Camera Cage for Panasonic Lumix G7 with HDMI Cable Clamp - 1779

This fit perfectly for the LUMIX G7. I love how it has a bottom contact and also locks into the hot shoe. It is very solid and the many mounting points are going to really come in handy. I also got a top handle which mounts seamlessly with the cage.

Bought this for my g7 and it fit just as advertised, very sturdy, and well made. As of now I have no issues but, if any arise then I will update the review, fingers crossed

I bought the cage for my G7 because I wanted to be able to mount a monitor and on-camera mic at the same time. Thankfully, this cage comes with two built in hot shoe mounts on the top left and right sides of the cage. With these features already built in, I can add a monitor on the top, a mic on one of the side hot shoe mounts, and an on-camera light on the other hot show mount. SmallRig is one of my favorite manufacturers of camera gear. If you have a G7, this cage will give you lots of choices for when you want to vlog or shoot run and gun style.

This small rig camera cage saved me a lot of time. I used in my Panasonic g7 camera. It fitted perfectly and there so many things u can attach to this rig like microphone and led light.

This camera cage is a perfect fit for my Lumix G7. It attaches securely at 2 points. It is a comfort to have the extra protection for my camera. It gives you so many options for attaching limitless accessories such as external battery packs, microphones, etc.

Fits my Panasonic g7 perfectly, feels very nice on the hand, I like how I can relocate the mic on the corner, and have another for a light. Also gives it a Professional look to it. Simple and useful.

I really like this cage. Is is solidly constructed and attaches my camera at the top and the bottom. Very sturdy. I tried another cage earlier that just used a 1/4 thread mount at the bottom and it was nowhere near as solid. I also like the fact that this rig lets me get to memory and battery without unmounting it.

I love this rig. Looks great and works great too. The G7 is all plastic and feels a little on the weak side. This is what I needed to feel better about running around with it on shoots. With a handle it's perfect. Lots of mounting points and sturdy. Great little rig.

Detto questo, la Smallrig 1779 è solidissima, credo indistruttibile (la prudenza non è mai troppa, non l'ho ancora usata come martello) e la NATO rail laterale è comodissima e davvero funzionale. La utilizzo in abbinamento alla maniglia quick release 1688 ( SmallRig ® Camera QR Maniglia con 15 Millimetri Morsetto Asta per EVF / Microfono Shock Mount (Versione Aggiornata del 1649) -1688 ) con cui ho una configurazione stabilissima e semplice da gestire. Consigliata per chi come me ha intenzione di utilizzare tanti accessori con la propria G7.

TUTTAVIA A DESTRA OSTACOLA PARZIALMENTE L'APERTURA DELLO SPORTELLINO DI PLASTICA PER L'ACCESSO ALLA PRESA HDMI. IL PREZZO E' A MIO AVVISO TROPPO ALTO MA AL MOMENTO DELL'ACQUISTO NON C'ERANO OFFERTE MIGLIORI.
