Cost effective solution.
Swapped out my cooker hood bulbs for these 10 watt bulbs. Immediately reduced the power output from 80 watts down to 40 watts. The light output to be honest is only marginally reduced. I really wanted to move to 'LED' bulbs but would have had issues with doing this. In these days of high electricity costs this has been an easy fix. So far proving to be reliable and cost effective. Having received a pack of 10 of these bulbs I was additionally able to remove a halogen anglepoise bulb and substitute it, again reducing the power drain significantly. I will update my review should any issues arise in operation.

Just moved to a new address, and first thing noticed a couple of light bulbs had gone. and i took one out and asked previous owner where could i purchase and he recommended Amazon, saw them straight away good price and changed the bulbs now work fine. will order again from Amazon
