I've ordered several 48 Ounce Bags over the last few months. I've always received FRESH nuts - the expiration dates have all been 11 to 12 months away, so I don't understand the few reviewers that received STALE nuts. Also, the nuts are of great quality, and roasted & salted just right. I've never received burnt or blackened nuts, so I don't understand the Reviewers that said they did. The nuts are all of a good consistent size. I've only received a child's handful of empty half shells per 3 pound bag, which is offset by the same amount of nut meats without the shell. But shipping & handling explains this. I highly recommend these Wonderful Pistachios. Amazon has a very good price for a 3 pound bag.

Peeled, toasted and salted pistachios are an ideal appetizer. They are crunchy, tasty and have just the right point of salt. The toasting enhances its nutty flavor and the salt adds flavor without being excessive. Their shell makes eating them satisfying and helps control portions. They are of excellent quality and always fresh. They can be eaten alone, in salads or in desserts. They are a healthy and delicious option that I definitely recommend.

Delicious and a super large size. Amazon sells it much cheaper than my local store so I’m glad for that. They came nicely packaged and had a lo g shelf life. Good quality.

This is a big bag filled up half gallon ball jar and then some. Tasty, really fresh. It's not a large pistachio, medium size. A nice amount of sweetness in this nut. Very few nuts that were un opened, no nutcracker needed. The salt is mainly on the exterior of the shell and I would not consider this to be too salty. This nut is great for the microbiome according to Steven Gundry Md. Needless to say I finished this bag in a couple of weeks.
