It was very fiddly to use as a key clip for the trousers.Very flimsy quality, doesn't feel sturdy as the picture portrays.I slung mine.

When I read the low star reviews and critiques of this product I was slightly concerned but I think this mini carabiner keychain is great.For those reading this review here are the facts:Size: Key-sizedMy photos show how the carabiner clip is the size of a standard US house key (Schlage, Kwikset). This is NOT a mountaineering size. This makes it the perfect size when you put it in your pocket since it won’t be bulky.Material: TitaniumIf you don’t know already, titanium is stronger and lighter than steel. That’s why it usually costs more. Compared to cheap aluminum carabiners, it’s much better constructed.Closing latchThis works well and, with a little practice is easy to slip on and off the belt loop on my jeans (much like as shown in ad photos).Ring with carabiner: SteelAs clearly documented in the product description, the carabiner and main loop are titanium, the key ring is not. In my photos I have the 3-ring titanium ring bundle (which I reviewed separately). For completeness, consider adding these for consistency and strength.Finish: SandblastedI chose this finish since it can’t peel off and scratches won’t be as noticeable. Others have photos of what happens as normal wear and tear take their toll on the colored or polished variants. I didn’t see the point of paying a lot more for something that will get scratched or flake off over time. This also helps match up with other products in the line (like the ring bundle) or other items (like the TiSpanner in some my photos)

The coating chips off over time and shows bare metal, the keychain is solid . actually looks fine weathered and kind of 2 tone now. Mind you this is after almost 2 years now of use and the build quality is also amazing !

I purchased this carabiner to replace my keys' carabiner, which finally broke after a decade. I'm enjoying this one. The main piece is a single piece of powder-coated titanium. That said I have two issues.First, the powder coating will chip off over time. I've had various areas where the key ring slides against the coating come off already. It's no big deal, as I like the worn look.Second, as noted by some other reviewers, the carabiner is a bit on the small side. I wish it were bigger so I could more easily loop it through a belt loop. I still need to do a bit of finagling.Overall, I recommend this to others.

Can’t be happier hope they do a few more colors. Do light and convenient. Unique color.
