floats well

Does it’s job!
Turned my kid into a fish this summer. My kid is new to learning how to swim so I wanted something to keep him safe while at the bay. It looks so small on him but he is within the limits. He actually likes the fit because it didn’t obstruct his ability to move his arms or boogie board. It kept his head out of the water. I am very happy with my purchase.

VERY inaccurate sizing
Nothing wrong with the product, but when placed on a child that is 45 pounds, and a very thin child, it cannot be fully buckled. The size chart shows this: Child- features a leg strap for added safety (children 30-50lbs). That is an outright inaccuracy, and very problematic for a lifevest that someone expects to be a livesaving device. If it was a tank top that was small I would be irritated, but I bought this for a summer of fun when there isn't much to do than go to a lake (pandemic fun), and by the time we found it was too small the return window had closed. Sucks.
