Praxis II Principles of Learning and Teaching Early Childhood Study Guide: Test Prep and Practice Test Questions for the Praxis II PLT 5621 Exam Paperback – September 26, 2016

I have been out of college for 8 years and found out I needed to take this test for my teaching certification when I started teaching in a different state. I read this book front to back 2 times and took the practice tests inside the book and when I took the test I felt very prepared. I passed the exam with flying colors! This book is all you need to do well!

This book really assisted in me helping the exam especially because I was not a education major for undergrad..i would also suggest purchasing the ets test prep...with me using both I was able to pass my exam with a 175

Great review and practice questions.The book is broken down by introduction, review, and practice questions.The review section discusses students as learners, instructional process, assessment, and professional development, leadership, and community.Students as Learners covers: student development and the learning process, students as diverse learners, student motivation and learning environment, and terms.The instructional process covers: planning instruction, instructional strategies, questioning techniques, communication techniques, and terms.Assessment covers: assessment and evaluation strategies, national, state, and district standardized assessments, and terms.Professional development, leadership, and community covers: professional development practices and resources, implications of research, views, ideas, and debates; reflective practices, the teacher's role in the community, the teacher as collaborator, implications of legislation and court decisions, and terms.There are 2 practice tests with a separate answer key. Each practice test contains 70 multiple choice questions followed by 4 constructed responses.I received this book at a discount to review; however, it does not affect my honest opinion.
