Right now, the best bargain watch winder on Amazon!
I'm a relatively new collector, and I've reached the point where I needed to either buy a watch winder, or to marry one. Both options can be costly, but modern electrical watch winders are quieter than spouses so I've been looking around for a couple of months before selecting this one -- which I just received today. I am genuinely impressed with it, and I'm not easy to impress. The device came packed as if it were a Ming Dynasty vase, and I can see why. These folks obviously take pride in their craftsmanship. The outer case is a heavy wood with a black piano finish, and the inner panel holding the turntables is a beautiful reddish-brown wood grain. The fit and alignment of the components is precise. There's a glass window to monitor the watches, and a light for nighttime viewing. I'd be proud to display this device anywhere.I can't compare the noise level to competing devices, but there's really no noise to speak of. Each turntable has its own motor, and each has separate controls. This, of course, reduces the load on each motor and improves their lifespan. Most "budget" winders seem to come with perhaps 4 "modes", which is a preset combination of turn directions (clockwise, counter-clockwise, or both) and number of turns per day. The problem is, every watch requires different settings, and limiting the options to 4 too often means overwinding or underwinding. This device, however, has two settings knobs for each watch, i.e. one knob for direction of turn, and a second control for the number of turns per day. This is ideal, and it's a feature commonly found on costlier winders.Watch winders for three watches or more are generally quite pricey unless they cut costs by having each motor drive two watches. This device, which is in the $200 range, would be a bargain even if it were made of plastic and came with only rudimentary controls. Considering the high quality of this winder, I imagine this low cost is an introductory offer to build up a customer base. I, for one, am thrilled to have found this winder and to have paid so little for it!

Great watch winder for the money
It’s beautiful, it arrived with in 4 days in perfect condition. For the money it’s fantastic. Very easy set up. Remember to find out what settings your watches need. There’s a website called Barrington, look it up to find your watches rotation and turn count

Quite Flawed
I am reviewing the triple winder that is a knock-off of a much more expensive product. It came very well packed and protected. The motors are quiet. The cabinet presents reasonably well. The daily 12-hour rest is an appreciated feature that is missing from many low-cost winders. Now for the not-so-positive observations. The door cannot be opened with one hand, and even with two hands there is no good way to brace the unit against the opening force. Whether or not you turn-on the feature to stop motion when the door is opened, closing the door seems to reboot the program, so that the 12-hour rest will not occur for another 12 hours. The best routine as far as I can tell is to open and close around the time that the12-hour rest will end. This seriously needs a re-design. The motors vary in speed noticeably within just one minute of motion. I focused on the mid-speed motor and counted 6.44 turns per minute of motion. From that, and from the stated rest times (which I did not verify), I calculated the actual TPD to equal roughly 67% of each TPD setting. I am curious to know if others see similar motor speeds. Also, I welcome others to challenge my math.EDIT - the problem with the program restarting with the closing of the door has since been fixed in the design. I verified this with the 6-winder variant. I increased my rating from 3 to 4 stars.

Works exactly as it should and is QUIET!
Great bang for the buck. Hi-end multi-watch watch winders can cost thousands of dollars. Why pay that when you can get this? Works as advertised and is quiet. Also, the customer service is shockingly good. I had a little difficulty in the beginning and the seller immediately replied to my inquires. After quick responses, often in real time even though we were dealing with international time zone issues, they not only acknowledged one small aspect of the item I received wasn't quite to my liking and they immediately sent me a brand new item, at their own expense, that was everything I'd hoped it would be. Which in particular is QUIET! Works for all my watches from Rolex to Chopard and even the less costly designer automatics. Great product, great seller. Highly recommend.

Poor quality especially for the price.
I received this and it’s really poor quality. For nearly $300 I would expect some amount of quality control. The front window has some sort of distortion bubbling on it so you not clearly see into it. There was protective film on the outside, which I removed but the distortions as well as scratches are still there. The outside of the case (which is all plastic, btw) had light scratches on it that looked like a paper towel or some semi abrasive material was used on it. Again, for the price I would expect some level of quality control as well as better materials aside from cheap plastic. When trying to work with customer service I was told by the Amazon support to contact the seller and they would replace the item, no worries. Well I contacted the seller and they said, no, go back to amazon and request a replacement or refund. After a few back and forth on why I was contacting them, I was told to just return and get a refund then buy it again. I think not. Will not buy this piece of garbage again. I am returning it and will buy from a company that actually seems to give a crap about service and quality. Avoid buying!

WOW! 👍
I'm not sure what an expensive watch winder will do that this one won't. I'm very impressed. As described, winds your watch(s) 12 hrs per day. Set your desired settings and let it go!

Not worth the money
Initially, the winder was working very well. After about a year, the winder started to get louder and louder and the winding was no longer smooth. It's so bad now that I have to turn it off to sleep (it's in my bedroom about 15 feet away). I don't trust it to wind any of my pricier watches. Would not recommend.
