It makes solid lines

Everyone else on the job site has $30+ tajima chalk boxes and they all prefer I use mine when snapping a line, the thickness of the bold line is very visible and it’s very easy to roll out 100ft. The only thing I don’t like is the wheel. You think 6-1 ratio is great until you go to whind it in and it’s getting stuck every 4-5 feet. There are cheaper chalk boxes with way better wheels which is why this product is upsetting, but other than that, it’s another Milwaukee product, durable and works great!

Using chalk lines for 45 years.I use chalk lines all day at work. none seam to hold up no matter what U spend. except this chalkline.4 months in still works as good day one.usually after two months I replace them for different reasons.

As the layout man for a large company I go thru numerous chalk lines a year . I have tried every chalk line on the market and this is my choice to use. These are reasonable and hold up well.

Good product that holds up well in rain. Gears don't gunk up like traditional chalk boxes. The line is braided and won't rot and snap before the gears wear out.

I bought 3 of these at the same time . All 3 are junk. I have a framing crew, thought this chalk line would be a good one. Nope, wont real in, even if you put just a little chalk in it. Sometimes you can over fill a chalk box but these are just not good. The gears strip easily.
