Very bright but 4 bulbs lasted less than a year in occasional use

We have a highly decorative, over the mirror fixture in our master bathroom. It has six light globes.These bulbs replace old High wattage, High Heat, Halogen Bulbs that we used before the LED bulbs became available. The Halogen bulbs were 60 watts each and they burned out regularly, plus they cost about $7.00 each at Home Depot or Lowes. Since we have been using the LED bulbs, I have had to reorder twice.About every 5 to 6 months, one bulb will burn out or get very dim. That is about what we experienced with the Halogen Bulbs. You can calculate the savings using LED. It is significant.

This is the 3rd set of e11 LEDs I’ve purchased from all different sellers on Amazon; they all have issues. The previous ones flickered or wouldn’t dim, now these stay illuminated when the dimmer switch is off. They dim and and the brightness is great but I can’t handle the light being illuminated when it’s suppose to be off.

The bulbs work just fine, but like several other reviewers, I am confirming that the brightness level is less than the 100W halogen bulbs that they replaced. They are advertised as equivalent to a 100W bulb, but my guesstimate is that they are closer to a 60 to 75 W bulb in terms of brightness. This is why I deducted one star. Overall, the bulb is good. It is dimmable and it does not flicker. Not sure about longevity - used just one day so far. I have chosen to keep the bulbs for now because they do offer a signifiant cost savings versus the four halogen bulbs they replaced. Hopefully I will get 'used to' the dimmer light.

I put these in my living room ceiling fans and I really liked how bright they got compared to the halogen bulbs I’ve been using for 32 years. I returned them so I can’t really speak to longevity but I suspect they would have been considerably better compared to the halogen bulbs. However, I had to get up and turn them off at the wall switch if I wanted them to go completely dark. If I used my remote, they would not turn off completely. They only went very dim.

Three now out in less than a year. Bathroom use, a few hours a day. Flicker like crazy for a while, then done.

I tried several of these bulbs and they turned on once, then not again. Waited and tried again and they would turn on once and then not again - it's like they had a short. They were not on a dimmer - just a regular on-off switch. The bulb I was replacing worked just fine, so I am going to order the same halogen bulb. These do not seem to be a suitable replacement for halogen. Cannot recommend them at all.

Bought these to replace 50 w halogen lamps. When initially turned on, they are plenty bright, maybe a bit brighter than the halogens. But within a minute or two they will gradually dim themselves to somewhat less than the halogen lamps. Still sufficient for my needs, so I'll keep them.December '22 update: I've been using these in a bathroom fixture and after 8 months, two of the six have failed. Dropping the rating from 4 to 1 star.January '23 update: Another has failed now for a total of three out of the original six are now dead. Spend your money elsewhere...
