I cannot recommend the products and the wonderful owners of Sherwood pet ...
I truly wish that I could give more stars. I cannot recommend the products and the wonderful owners of Sherwood pet health more highly. In a nutshell, we are very concerned about my sick bunny, Percy, whose problems were not resolved by the first veterinary visit. While I have found and scheduled an appointment with a veterinarian that I found through the wonderful HRS site, as well as through background checking, reading reviews, etc, I wanted to do as much as I could in the interim to improve his health and nutritional intake. I began to research higher quality pelleted diets, and was immediately drawn to Sherwood products. They seemed to have a really strong ethical and personal commitment to the health and care of bunnies, their ingredients were absolutely top notch, and the hundreds upon hundreds of glowing reviews made it an easy decision, so I immediately placed an order. Percy's problems are not those that can be eliminated solely through dietary ammendments, but a supremely high quality food can only help him! I. Posted on instagram a picture of Percy with a description of his ailments and issues, and tagged HRS, Tampa house rabbit rescue, and others in it, asking for advice to guide us and to help alleviate our fears until the vet apt Monday. Cindy (I hope. That I'm spelling her name correctly!!) immediately wrote back and suggested trying a product for critical care of very sick buns. I responded with gratitude, but that with Percy's anticipated very bills, my sick kitty's vet bills, a broken down car, etc, it just wasn't something that I could afford, and she immediately wrote back and asked me please call them so that they could send me some, FREE OF CHARGE. What kind of company does that?! Cares so much about the animals that they design food for that they were willing to help me, some random girl on instagram, this way. I called and spoke with Bob, and had a wonderful, long conversation with someone who is obviously deeply committed to helping people and their animals. He even asked me to send an email to him detailing all of the problems so that he could speak to an associate knowledgeable in such things and offer better advice. I am blown away, in awe, and beyond grateful. The food is amazing quality, dark green, fresh, with a delicious odor and amazing taste (yes, as weird as it sounds, I actually tried a pellet, and it was wonderful! I'm vegan, and now I can honestly say that I eat "rabbit food" lol! Well, just that one time...). Anyway, the point of this rambling post is this: premium product, phenomenal owners who give amazing customer service and who work with rescues!! It's a no brainer 😀 I'm a customer for life! Thank you, Bob and Cindy!!

Smells like fresh hay and is so green... My rabbit likes it. No more junk food pellets for him.
I decided to get this food because the other food I had gotten originally for my rabbit was what I would consider bunny junk food. Wheat, soy and corn are not normal ingredients that a rabbit should be eating in high quantities. I decided I wanted as clean a pellet mix for my rabbit as soon as possible. It was fairly easy to switch him over, but tough because he was starting to get spoiled on the higher carb junk food pellets. My rabbit now loves these pellets. Also his coat is much softer than before I had switched him to this brand. I think that this brand compared to other pellet brands would help prevent or at least not cause GI stasis like others said, because it is so high in fiber (since hay is the first ingredient). I first bought the smaller 4.5 lb bag of pellets when switching over, but I love being able to bulk order it. Also this pellet brand is so fresh and green. It smells amazing when you open the bag because it smells like really fresh hay. Just from that I know it is going to be really healthy for my rabbit. Will continue to buy this product. Have been satisfied with the few orders I have bought so far.

Amazing for my bunny with digestive issues!
The media could not be loaded. My bunny Oliver has a sensitive stomach and is very picky with his foods. I’ve had him on this pellet for about a month and his poo’s have reached the golden status! He is so much happier and more willing to eat lots of hay. I love the ingredients, there is no molasses! It’s also not packed with fillers and it smells so fresh. I was a little skeptical with it being a more expensive bunny food, compared to Oxbow or Mazuri. And with Oliver being a picky man, but I’d say this is his favorite food, I’ll be keeping him on this pellet. I 10/10 recommend to anyone that has a bun to use this as there food, especially if they have digestive issues. A good quality food like this really makes the difference!

Healthy bunnies
I have three bunnies. Two of them are 16 weeks old. The male is separated from the mother and its sister. The male is eating a pellet from Tractor supply called Dumor. The other two bunnies are eating the Sherwood pellets. It took a while to get them used to eating the Sherwood pellets, they don't like them as much as much as Dumor rabbit pellets. However they seem to be thriving on the Sherwood adult pellets. They like the adult pellets better than the Sherwood baby pellets. Their fur is so much softer vs our other bunny that is eating Dumor pellets. As a side note I feed the bunnies twice a day with their pellets, and unlimited hay. The pellets last several hours before they are gone. With the other brand Dumor they ate their ration of pellets within 10 minutes. No doubt it is better for the rabbits to eat the pellets throughout the day, instead of gobbling them all up in a few minutes. I truly am amazed at their fur. I read the reviews about how the quality of the bunnies fur improving and thought that people were exaggerating, but they were not. The Pellets seem pricey but i want our pets to be healthy. If the Sherwood pellets keep my rabbits healthy I think it is cheaper to buy high quality food than it is to take a sick bunny to a vet.
