Brilliant, professional, and rich
I'm trying to abstain from hyperbole, but this has been one of my favorite purchases in a long time. The synth itself is very simple and straightforward but the sounds can be so rich and take you to another place. I am able to get Mike Dean level professionalism out of this as well as Kid A/James Blake textures as well as, of course, the classic 80s sounds. There is truly so much that can be done with this. Beautiful synth. I agree with a comment I saw elsewhere that it's a modern classic.

Get the module
I must recommend the module over the keyboard, that is if you have a very high quality keybed ti connect it to. If you are going to only program a sequencer then this won’t apply, but to those who want to play expressively, the aftertouch is not very good at all. When I connect my motif es8 (hammer action with like 8 stage velocity) the aftertouch is much better. On the SC keybed on aftertouch set for filter freq, it’s very close to fully on and takes a lot of pressure, but with the midi coming from my es8 you can do big sweeps , also the velocity isn’t great again the es8 keybed outshines it I cannot play pianissimo or piano well on the SCckeybed, maybe others can and I’m just used to a hammer action keybed , but I think module is the way to go and use whatever keybed you want, if you decide you want ob-6 keybed then get one and polychain!
