My husband was a sheriff for about 10 years. We all love to go shooting when we can. Hubby wanted a way to give my teen boys more shooting practice even when we can’t go shooting. His brother had mentioned something like this to us. So after looking into it and reading lots of reviews I decided to get this and it works great. Hubs said it’s accurate and easy to use and was easy to set up.

This is quite a nice set, appears to be other similar ones out there. Takes a while to get set up, but once you do it's easy to use. I did feel like I needed a tutorial to use the tutorial.

I held on on review until I used this several times. Note - I have not and likely won't use the live-fire features as i only shoot at ranges anyway, so the paper tells the story I need there.As for dry-fire training at home, it's a solid pretty good. We train as a family as use the app as a game style competition to practice with our every day firearms. All of us experience about a 20% rate of misfire...the app counts shots that aren't actually taken. We've had it happen standing still, as well as in motion, double counts from draw, etc. etc. Heck, It's very common for the app to record shots while I'm holstered, waiting for the start tone.It's also worth mention that there is no cartridge ejection, so the firearm needs to be "racked" or reset after each shot.Pros:1) there's no recoil from the firearm, so anyone in the family can use it comfortably and safely (once the weapon has been confirmed cleared, safe and loaded with the laser cartridge of course),2) trigger familiarity without recoil anticipation,3) easy to understand, set up and use4) saves time getting to and from the range on a more frequent schedule5) saves money as there's less need to acquire "range ammo"Cons:1) There's no recoil from the firearm, therefore no way to practice repeat fire for target re-acquisition.2) No cartridge eject, so the weapon needs to be manually placed back into battery after each trigger pull. *Full disclosure, I haven't found any other dry fire systems that offer this capability either, nor am I even a little confident that it is technologically possible.3) Not uncommon to experience dry-misfires. Out of the 3 of us that have used it in multiple sessions, I don't recall a 10 shot practice session that did not record at least 1 misfire. 2/10 seems average, but 3 misfires out of 10 attempts is not uncommon either.Overall worth the price as it unlocks the premium features that really make the app worth while (without the premium features this review would be far more negative), makes for a fun family "game" while improving shot technique and accuracy, and saved time and money as regular range sessions can be reduced in frequency.

I wanted to wait to review until we used it a few times before I reviewed. I bought this to use with our 9mm guns for some target practice to hone in skill between times going to the gun range. We have had so much fun using it. We do plan to get a second laser and be more competitive. We are hoping they come out with a .22 option because we have quite a few .22 guns we would like to practice with too. We run into a couple hiccups with it not registering a shot or it taking two shots but we are noticing it is more when our arms are not steady. Would recommend. Bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband but I get to enjoy it too!

I've been researching a laser training system for a while. I talked to a couple of retired cop friends who recommended this one. I was really excited when I ordered it. When I got it, the 9mm cartridge was dead right out of the box. They replaced it immediately. Great customer service! Very responsive and got it to me very quickly.It's a lot of fun to use and you will definitely see improvements pretty quickly. It comes with everything you could possibly need including targets, a full size tripod, smaller tripod, Target stands, you name it. If you're serious about improving your aim, I highly recommend this as an aid.

Super fun to use, easy set up. Makes target practice affordable first and foremost but always brings the range anywhere. I usually practice at 12 meters and in my kitchen. Amazed by the accuracy

Found out you can buy the app through your phone for $49.99 the laser is $19.99 on amazon the phone stand is $20 and the replacement targets are $28. Would have been a better value to buy this stuff out of the kit could have gotten a few more calibers. It is fun and beneficial to use though. Still don't regret buying it.

It obviously doesn't have recoil, but it works great for draw practice and sighting in scopes. I had to fine tune the scope a bit more at the range, but it's worth it. I probably already saved in ammo costs in the 4 or so times I've practiced with it.
