Put it over our hot tub and connected them to the 12 volt array I have set up. been up there for years. We happened to have aluminum channel to put it in. That worked out great!

Only the white works. The color changing remote doesn't change the color. Battery is fine. They must have given me the white only lights. Im pissed because they're stuck up there now

Bought for my electric camper awning. Had just enough light strip for the length I needed,with a small piece to cut off.Just don't make the mistake I did. I cut whole strips of the two sided tape to hang it and ran out. I should have cut them in small tacks like 3,ends and middle pieces or something. I like that you can cut the light strip and it still works,just be careful where you cut. The instructions show where to cut. Happy so far. I haven't used the light but looking forward to alot of use this summer.

I actually bought these to install in my truck topper for lighting up the bed area in the dark. Unlike some others, I didn't have any problems hardwiring the lights directly to the truck (not using the 12 volt plug in adapter). For the most part, they work for my purposes. The lights on full white are bright enough to illuminate the entire bed area. I didn't use the plastic holding strips that came with the light kit, but I bought longer and more rigid LED light strip holders (similar to what you'd use for undercabinet lighting strips). Installation was easy, but have one small issue. The lights work well for white lighting which was my most important need. However, the remote doesn't change the lights to the color represented on the remote (I.e., the yellow button makes the lights red, the green button makes the lights green, etc.). Not a big deal for me. Most importantly, the white lights work on bright and dim.

I was trying to install I was dumb and did not check to see if it would work was in a hurry trying to beat the rain. Had to wait all winter to install. ran the wire rand the c channel and went to put up the lights and went to plug in the LED lights are 5 pin and the remote rf adapter that takes it to the power is a 4 pin. Quality control was not met there. I would increase the star rating if they made it right. I did purchase another one same issue I contacted Amazon kept getting the wrong one so I asked to speak to the business they made my second purchase right and was able to finish install.

Very nice lights..except the double-sided tape wasn't enough and alot of it was stuck together. It comes with a RF remote that doesn't have to be pointed at the lights to change the settings but if they were Bluetooth it would be nicer so I could use my phone.. these come with a clear rubber sleeve that the string lights go inside to keep them water proof. I need about 2 more sets to put under my trailer. hint-hint welluck 😉😉

The lights (in white default color) worked on the switch when I installed them on my travel trailer. When I went to use the remote, the battery was dead. I replaced the battery. Now I cannot get it to pair with the lights. I can't return it. Because the lights are now glued, my travel trailer. I'm still trying to find a workaround because the manual instructions on resetting the pairing don't work. So... Test everything before you install them.
