Best stuff EVER for my son's curly hair
I have a 2 year old with beautiful, thick curly hair. I'm half black and white, and my husband is white. He has smooth textured hair with a lot of ringlets and as he gets older it is a nightmare to comb his hair after bath. He just hates it. Plain water doesn't do the trick to get the comb through. I've tried a few other natural products that weren't quite working either. I hit the jackpot with this. I buy a lot from Amazon and don't normally have the time to write reviews with 2 small children but this stuff is so awesome I have to say 5 stars all the way. The smell is wonderful. I didn't find it to be too greasy -- a little goes a long way. I put a little in my palm with hair wet and the comb goes right through and his hair doesn't feel so dry. Smells like vanilla orange but not too overpowering and best of all: no tears. He doesn't mind combing at all! Bed time has become enjoyable again without wrestling him to comb his hair as he cries. I keep it away from the tub and shower as other reviewers have said and as it says on the bottle. The stuff is all natural. Don't get water in it. All natural is what we want right? Well common sense would be to take care of it to preserve it so it doesn't go bad. Otherwise get some conditioner with all the harmful chemicals. I can't say enough about how great this conditioner is. The best part is you can leave it in too and comb hair in the morning before school and yes- no tears again. Thank you for carrying this product. I must never run out!

Delicious scent, no tangles, and safest ingredients!
I started buying this when my first born son was a baby 7 years ago, and it is still in my Subscribe and Save. Both my boys are now 7 and 4, and we are still using this conditioner on their hair. I love, love the gentle vanilla orange scent, but I really love that we don't have to do a rinse out. The boys both hate rinsing their hair, and, of course you have to rinse out the shampoo. But, then we can just put a tiny amount of this lovely conditioner in, and leave it. The bottle says you can choose to rinse it out or leave it in. For my own long, fine hair, I rinse it out so I can put my own products in afterward. For my boys, we leave it in. I comb it wet and there are absolutely no tangles. The hair is left so soft, and it leaves a wonderful, clean, soft, natural scent. I love smelling my boys after a bath because of this conditioner! The best part about this conditioner is the ingredients, which are all natural and organic. There is no toxic synthetic fragrance or other unsafe ingredients. I have done research on the harmful affects of parabens, sulfates, fragrances, etc., and I chose to never use any of these on my children. I feel so good knowing they have never had any of these absorbed into their skin. This product and company is highly recommended!

Great for children with long hair!
I give the product and the value of this set 5 stars. But I'm taking off a star because the packaging (these smaller bottles) is more difficult to get the product out. I love this conditioner for my three year old with very long hair. The price is great for two smaller bottles for a non-toxic hair product. I found this brand after searching for a more affordable option than California Baby. I prefer the pump of the larger size over this type of bottle, but the price is better buying it this way. It is usually easier to get the product out if I leave it tipped over or unscrew the top off. I love the smell and how it easily applies in the hair and leaves it very soft and easy to brush, even if isnt on for too long before she dips her head into the water. My favorite thing is that it is a leave in conditioner, so I don't have to worry about making sure it is completely rinsed out or it would be noticeable in the hair after it dries. We just have to gently rinse it and her hair is silky and manageable when it drys.

Works well, but you have to use a lot
First and foremost, it works. My 18-month-old daughter has a problem with thin hair that gets dry and frizzy very easily in our climate. This stuff solved the problem. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is just too greasy to use as a leave-in conditioner but it works well as a rinse-out. If I had to complain about anything, it would just be that it takes a whole lot of this conditioner to work on a small amount of hair. The amount I have to use is probably about 1/8 cup, and my daughter's thin hair is only down to her shoulders when wet. However, I don't mind using a lot of this conditioner to prevent the Phil Specter hair style she was sporting before.

Mmmm soft sweet and tangle-free
Smells SO good...Softens baby's hair and smells so good that you just want to eat it...or go buy a cupcake that smells like it. Little one's hair was starting to get long enough to tangle when the comb pulled through, so I wanted to get a gentle conditioner for her sensitive skin. This had a great price. I've used some in my hair as well and it seems to work well. As stated in other reviews, a LITTLE BIT goes a long way. Resist the urge to slather this all over their head! Otherwise you'll be rinsing longer than the little one has patience for! Also, I'm a huge fan of my baby's smell, and although this smells really good, it doesn't MASK her baby smell. That is a big deal for me :)

Not really impressed
I bought this for use on my mixed race infant daughter's hair.Pros:- natural/organic ingredients at a reasonable price-absolutely delicious 'creamsicle' orange/vanilla scent- did not irritate my baby's very sensitive skin- can be used as a leave-in or rinsed outCons: - not tear free, which makes it tricky to use as a leave-in on small children/infants who may touch their wet hair and then touch their (or your!) eyes/face- doesn't do a very good job of conditioning, especially if it is rinsed out, even partially. My daughter's hair is soft, thick, and curly (ringlets), with some coarser 'afro-like' patches in the back.... This product did not even come close to providing adequate conditioning for her hair; it felt very dry afterwards and I had to put coconut it oil in it.Overall, I think if you have a child with finer hair (not coarse, curly, or 'ethnic'), this product may work out fine for you. We will continue our search for a more hydrating conditioner.
