I bought this for my preschool classroom. I love all the different options for music. I can use it for quiet time, for play time, for nap time, and for morning work time, all with different sounds that are calming and great. The cord is on the shorter side, so make sure you put some thought into where you put it. One of my students is always trying to change the music. Other than that it was a great purchase and very useful.

I had been listening to rain sounds on YouTube for years to help get to sleep. This required keeping my TV on for hours and a good internet connection. This was a cheap alternative that made the whole process much easier. Now all I have to do is press a single button.I scoured many other product reviews before landing on this one and although it doesn't do everything I'd like it to, it was the best value for the money and satisfied most of my requirements. Many other options had complaints that they could hear when the track looped. Having listened to the rain track for about a week now I can say that I've never heard this on this device. I'm sensitive to sounds starting/stopping and this would wake me up easily. Another drawback when relying on YouTube.This was one of the few options that allowed infinite playback. Others stopped after 4 or 5 hours which is useless to me. I'd wake right up as soon as it stopped playing and I need a solid 8 hours.YMMV but I preferred putting the device on its side so the speaker faced out instead of down. The audio just didn't sound right bouncing off the bureau.Things I wished it had: battery backup. It's great still being able to listen if the internet goes out but what about the power? Battery backup would have been a nice option that I would have paid a little extra for.Glow in the dark or back-lit buttons. The top of the unit has a light to tell you which track you're on and which time length but these will always be on the same 2 settings for me so it really didn't matter. However, the power, volume, skip forward/back, etc are not back-lit so if you don't know where they are you'll be fumbling in the dark or will have to turn on a light. I may get a glow in the dark paint marker to help out on dark mornings. In the meantime, I've memorized where the power button is and that's all I really need for now.In summary, if you like falling asleep to rain sounds, need something that plays continuously and don't want to be woken up by track looping, this is a great little box that doesn't take up much room and won't break the bank!

I love it. Super easy to program.Good selection of sounds. Works better than I expected. Definitely worth the investment.

Sound quality and volume are fine, but white noise, pink noise, blue noise, brown noise, soft fan, big fan: 6 out of 25 sounds feature some kind of unpleasant buzzing. Why? The "brook" sounds are so similar that it's pointless to have 3 of them; same with the "sea wave" settings. And "train"? How's that going to put anyone to sleep? Fewer than half of the sounds are agreeable in my opinion.

Considering I paid only $25. for this little box, it's certainly worth the money.What I like: Ease of use, compact size, sound quality is very acceptable, the sound names engraved on the surface are a good way to know what you actually listen to.The timer choices are good, although I don't use this feature often - I usually let my unit On all night long.What I don't like: I find there are only 8 sounds good enough to listen to, which is about the third of all the choices - this is MY taste, of course. I feel the rest of them is not worth listening to. The train is the worst.Also... the lights on top are definitely not too bright, nor disturbing.For people who want to move the unit to other rooms: just get another usb cable. This is really not an issue. Also, most power bars now have usb ports, in which you can connect this unit, without the need of another power supply.

Compact, takes up very little space. Great for travel. Nice selection of sounds.

My husband uses it to muffle the noise of my daycare to sleep and it works for him.A lot of noise choices but we only like one... but thays all we need actually. So worth the money!

I am a happy (sleeper) camper again.
