Me seedings thrive, but I bought a second bag and there was a lot of sticks. You could sift this to get even finer texture but for me it wasn’t necessary but there were several sticks on here otherwise my plants love it and are doing great

There was too many large pieces of sticks/wood that the seedlings had a hard time breaking through. Other than that there was very good germination

This is a well known product that I use in my organic growing. It was delivered overnight at via Prime which was important for my needs. It contains all the right nutrients and is a good value comparatively speaking. Organic items will always be more but are well worth that bit extra. It's 8 quarts and does well for small gardening which is what I need. They do offer bigger bags but I've a lack of space for storing items. The dirt/soil contents are ideal for seeds and it's so much easier to use than mixing up my own potting mix.

It was completely unusable—incredibly hydrophobic. The soil would just repel the water or pass it through immediately without absorption. It turned into a dry, compacted brick, and nothing would make it absorb water.While many seeds germinated, most of them died within a couple of weeks due to this issue. Deeply disappointing - it ruined a big portion of my planting season. I contacted the seller and they refused to refund me anything.
