PUR is my go to for water filters. I’ve tried others and this is the only one that consistently gets the chlorine taste out. There is no leakage when filtering, even if I’m dispensing at the same time. Instructions are clear and easy to understand. Product is solid and has great durability for my careless ways.

I love this pitcher. For the price point it's been great. The lid has never popped off like other reviewers have stated. So simple to set up. I live in an area where the water smells wretched. Like exceeding amounts of chlorine or sulphur. I saw this pitcher and thought it'd be a better choice rather than adding things to all my faucets. The water fills up relatively quickly and tastes clean..no bad taste no smell. Best part is I use it to rinse my eyes since the faucet water was giving me steyes..yes multiple ones in each eye! Now with this and ocuclear foam to wash..all better. Best purchase I've made and ther was a coupon for filter refills

Highly recommended for masterminds who take their coffee (and hydration) seriously.

i love this little thing. i live alone with 3 animals and use this for all of us. i do have to fill it up frequently but that’s fine i wanted a smaller one. the pink is so cuteeeee, and my FAVORITE part of this system is it does NOT taste like tap water AT. ALL. i’m very sensitive to the way my water tastes so i put off getting one for a long time until someone else served me water from one and i was sold.

It’s smaller than I thought it would be, I guess I don’t have a good gauge for how much water “7 cups” is. But it works great for me, and the water filters through quickly. I think it does a good job filtering the water as well.

I'm a PUR loyalist and love that the product filters so much more of the forever chemicals and lead/heavy metal that is in our water stream. I had my first water filter for about 20 years. The workmanship of this particular filter and the general volume, just isn't great. The indicator for replacing the filter broke pretty immediately and can't be near water (which is not ideal for what this is). The pitcher is fragile and is already broken. And I knew it was small, but it is too small for the volume of water I drink. So, it is what it is.

For a few days the Pur Plus filter that came with the pitcher drained the 4-cup tray in 20 minutes. The drain time got longer every day until after 7-10 days it took 4-5 hours to drain the tray. I closely followed online instructions to de-clog the filter (turn upside down, shake vigorously until granules move freely, rinse drain ports for 30 sec cold then 30 sec warm). This reduced drain time to 3-4 hours for one day, then it was back to 6 hours. I call Pur and they sent another filter no charge : ) But the same thing happened. I've seen many similar complaints online. Pur should should stop selling this product that doesn't work as advertised.

After you've tasted the filtered water from this jug you'll wonder why you ever tolerated unfiltered tap water in the first place. Definite night and day difference.

This water filter seems to eradicate the strong smell of chlorine, which is very obvious in tap water (Anglian Water company). It improves the overall taste and it is easy to use and to replace the filter. Because I drink a lot of water and use filtered water for cooking, it doesn't really last 2 months. After a few weeks the water begins to taste unpleasant (like tap water) and so I replace the filter. I can't seem to find the filters in this country, so I have to buy them from the US.
