I was stoked to get this product because there was finally a USB-C hub with HDMI and ethernet. I installed it today and it doesn't work. Power seems to come through fine, as does the ethernet and USB, but HDMI doesn't work. I tried multiple times plugging and unplugging, mirroring, using as separate display, and doing one plug at a time, but nothing works. The computer can tell that the HDMI was plugged in and my monitor notices as well, but no video gets transmitted. It's sad because this was going to be my go to hub, but without the video it's useless. Guess back to the Apple adapter.2 stars b/c I like the idea and design, but what's the point without video?

What's the point if HDMI doesn't work?I'm trying this on multiple MacBook and MacBook Pro devices with multiple different displays.The HDMI simply doesn't work....shame as I really liked the idea of HDMI and ethernet in one adapter!

I haven't tried the HDMI yet, but I cannot get the ethernet to work on my Macbook Pro. Ethernet works just fine on two other similar devices (Benfei and Avotch multi-port adapters) - simple plug and play devices. But the Riida is just not ready for prime time.
