Ported for competition sealed for music quality and bandwidth
I put them in the trunk of my crown Victoria I have two in a sealed box facing towards the trunk lid. My trunk lid is not thrilled about it. Lots of people say ported is the way to go but I listen to all types of music so a full bandwidth is important. Fourth order 6th order for plain old sealed they bang

Home Theater and Music
I purchased this to add some SPL to my HT it is in addition to 2 Klipsch 15's and another Sundown 15.This 18 did exactly what I got it for...added much needed SPL to the room. I built an enclosure 20% Larger than Sundown's suggested 7 FT3 and tuned it to 36hz so it peaks around 40hz but does really well down to 20. It is powered by a Dayton SPA 1000 and at the 1000+ dynamic power is just insane. With music it fills in those low bass notes and hard hitting kick drums in a way those Klipsch 15's cant. Well worth the time, money, and effort.
