I’m a heavy board gamer, the heavier the better. I’ve taken to purchasing more family friendly games to get more game time in when my heavy gamer friends are unavailable.My wife and kids are not gamers but they will play this.It’s not difficult to learn and there is some strategy involved, but not a whole lot. It’s a quick play and very little wait time between player’s turns.It’s a push your luck type game where you build sets of colored number runs. This is accomplished by drawing cards from a community deck. You’ll draw numbered cards between 1-9 in four different colors and/or cards that have pips on them (like dice). If you draw either colored numbers or pips that add to more than 10, you bust. You can end your turn and either choose to take the colored numbers to build your runs, or take the pip cards and take an amount of money equal to the pips. When you take the colors, the opponents get the pip money. If you take the pip money, the colored cards go to a common “store” where they then can be purchased with money. When you bust, it’s not the end of the world. When the deck is exhausted, the game ends and the highest score wins.There are some additional nuances to the game (auctioned cards, wilds, etc) but suffice it to say, it’s fun.As of this writing, its $30 on Amazon which is a bit pricey for what you get in the game component-wise. I got it for less from Amazon, so I chalk it up to its current popularity.

This game is awesome! Quick to learn, fun to play. Our whole family loves it.

Love this game! Luck, strategy, bidding, so fun. Highly recommend you go on line to find a video on how to play as the directions are kind of confusing. But once you get it, you get it and love it. This gaming family plays every week and have gifted multiple times.

This game has a lot of mechanics: bidding, push your luck, set collecting. And it all comes together to make it a blast.

Fun to play after dinner with another couple. Or just a game night.
