Quiet and collects a lot of water quick! The bin is super small so I had to switch it to the hose that is included and drain it into the floor. It's very quiet. The only complaint I would have is if you have a situation where you can't use the hose you probably want to get one with a larger capacity bin. This one fills up in 7-8 hours at my house and is about 1/3 of the size of any other unit I've ever owned, otherwise it's a great buy.

I have a lung condition and was having a hard time breathing in our Southern humidity. Even with air conditioning, my husband realized that I needed a dehumidifier. We did our research and chose this one. It's a beautifully designed, elegant lifesaver! The sound is so quiet we hardly know it is running. In a very short time, I could feel the difference in the room, and I was breathing without effort. We immediately ordered another one for upstairs.

This seems like a good product and it does remove moisture from the air quickly. However, Amazon shipped it improperly. It should be shipped standing up! Instead, Amazon shipped it on its side in another box with no packing around the original box--and plenty of space between the boxes. The item was apparently damaged because of this, but the company was willing to replace it. I also made a formal complaint to Amazon, as shipping it in this manner can cause leaking of refrigerant, which is serious business. If you only plan to use the receptacle and not the hose, be prepared to empty it twice a day. On a rainy day, it can take about 1.5 gallons of water out of the air! The wheels are handy, and it's relatively quiet although I personally found the noise slightly annoying--not enough to make me want to return it though.

This is an excellent humidifier. Craftmenship, packaging, and performance of this unit are all excellent! Easy to operate and maintain. I’m so thankful.

This worked fine the first year that I used it in my basement, which is about 600 sqft. This year however, it runs nonstop (literally never shuts off) and can’t get below 61% humidity. For reference, if I wasn’t running a dehumidifier the humidity would probably be between 65-70%. For something that’s rated for a 2,000 sqft area I’m unimpressed. Last summer we had a drought, and I’m guessing that’s why it worked sufficiently. I will probably need to replace it with something else this year which is unfortunate, as it wasn’t cheap.
