Fast - Very Fast
Item works great. Instant heat. Will heat up a cup of coffee that is room temperature in less than a minute.

Exactly what I needed
The immersion heater worked flawlessly. I used the small heater to prevent my wet saw from freezing when cutting tile in below freezing temperatures. The small heater kept the water in the saw warm enough to work all day, while drawing low enough wattage to allow the saw and heater to run on the same outlet without issue.

Pro tip
Good for making coffee or raman noodles in a college dorm or a cell. Don't let the heating coil ever get out of the water while plugged in. Even for a second. The heating element burns up very quickly and I have ruined more than one in the blink of an eye. While you think that you are getting away with taking it out of the water and nothing happens, inside the metal tube the heating element is being burned. The loss of ANY part of the conductor inside increases the resistance, which overheats the element, which in turn consumes more conductor and now you have created an endless cycle that eventually kills the unit. Only use it in clear water only (add hot chocolate, coffee, raman noodles later) because it turns semi solids into hard glazed epoxy that can't be removed, even if you have a 5 year sentence and a steel brush. That's because the outer heating element covering tube, or housing, is coiled so tightly that it touches itself. This makes it impossible to clean between the coiled tube and it will then emit foul tasting, burnt, black flakes until you are eventually driven crazy and smash it against something hard. Just sayin. Don't do it. Only water. Keep submerged while plugged in.

Small portable fast
its good, heats up water really fast. I travel for work and love making tea but hate using hotel coffee machine.

Just the right size for 8 to 10 oz cups
This heater fits well on 8 to 10 oz cups. Larger infusers are often to long to clip onto the rim of an 8-10 oz cup. It heats up very quickly as well.

Just what I needed!
I don't have a microwave at the moment, so I can't heat my coffee up after it's gone cold. This thing works great! Heats up my cold coffee in less than 2 minutes, it's like my coffee never got cold. I read other reviews and carefully read the directions; I'm very careful to make sure I plug or unplug it only when it's in my coffee. The only thing I wish I could improve on it isthe length of the base and hook. The hook holder only works if it's a short coffee cup(my cups are ALL funky sizes) so I have to hold it down into the coffee for to work correctly.Definetely recommend it, just follow the directions and use it correctly.

Plastic hook breaks easily
This item works really great to warm up my coffee. I don’t use a microwave so this was a great option. It hangs on the side of the cup and warms up very fast. I bought 2 of these and it has only been 3 months and both the hooks (that are plastic) have broken and now it no longer hooks on the side of the cup. It would be fine if my coffee cup was a short one, but having a deep cup, if I put it in the cup, it is almost completely submerged in the cup. The concept is great, but they should have made the hook metal so it doesn’t break. I will be buying another, but not this brand.
