Easy install and replacement for existing DSC keypad that started having issues with the LCD display. Swapped out with the old unit and no programming required. Just connect the few color coded wires same as the old key pad and now it works perfectly. When turning power back on to the main circuit board had to re-enter the time and date and turn on the door chime at one of the DSC keypads - but nothing more complicated than that.

Keypad was bought as a replacement for an existing failed keypad. It comes with factory instructions. Users must know installer code to the DSC alarm system to activate keypad once it is connected.

Difficult to program since it doesn't have text display. Works perfectly to arm and disarm. Would recommend having at least one keybad with text display.

Inexpensive OEM Replacement. Shipped on time. Product was as advertised and much cheaper than the vendor's offering.

Be aware that the keypad I purchased has outdated firmware from 2017. Today is March 25, 2023. It is also shown with a blank face, however keypad comes with ADT logo. The firmware was version 1.2 on my keypad.

I bought this used. I place this keypad near my basement door. The installation it's not complicate if you can run a wire at your control board. You can connect all your keypad in the same 4 screw terminal. You can run up to 8 keypad on DSC1832 (if you don't overcharge the keypad ports above 700mA). In the DSC systems, you don't need to bought all the same keypad for your system like paradox. You can bought different (compatible) model of keypad arround your home.
