The Body Shop Facial Brush with Lid

Since there was some question in the reviews about the size of this brush, I photographed it with a quarter. I also included a photo taken from the side so that one may gauge the thickness of the plastic shield/cover. The cover is thicker than I understood from the reviews.The nylon bristles are soft. This is not the brush for serious exfoliation, for which a natural bristle brush would be used. The bristles do not seem to shed, at least when first used.The brush does garner a nice lather, even with cleansers that are not foaming cleansers, simply from friction. It does it’s job and rinses thoroughly.There is no chemical smell or texture on the plastic or bristles.The cover is thick plastic and protects the bristles from distorting in transit. Obviously, one needs to let the brush dry before storing before putting on cover so that there is not a moist condition created that would harbor mildew or bacteria growth.For $3, this brush is quite a good deal. It’s one of the few that I could find that is not battery powered or too firm.

I was skeptical about this brush. It is clearly very small and some reviews said that the bristles were too harsh. It was $3 so I said "why not?" and bought it anyways.I never knew my skin could be transformed by a small little brush in such a short time. I have severe nodular acne as well as typical teenage whiteheads and blackheads. Using this brush morning and night for 4 days in a row has completely erased my nodular acne. I have significantly less blackheads but I was mostly amazed at how my nodular acne has subsided for the first time in 4 years.This brush is not very harsh and is easy to hold because of its size. It comes with a clear cap to prevent it getting dirty. This brush has changed everything for me. My acne scars are fading away and even my father is surprised and almost doesn't believe me when I tell him I'm not wearing makeup because my scars are so small now. Love this brush.

I wanted a simple facial cleansing brush and for the most part, this fits the bill. I was hoping for it to be a bit bigger, but I would say it's a standard size, it just feels smaller because of the small handle.I was also slightly disappointed in the firmness of the bristles. In order to not feel like you're washing your face with sandpaper, it's important to use a REALLY light hand! Once I got the hang of it, I decided I liked the product. It's easy to clean and does the job.I would say with a brush this firm, only use it a few nights a week as an extra step in exfoliating, anything more than that and it will be too harsh on your skin

When i ordered this i did read all the other reviews and thought to get it anyways. I just recieved the brush yesterday in the mail and used it to wash my face last night and this morning. It is a little on the small size but it feels comfortable in my hand when i use it. It is not too small where i feel like i wasted my money.I am glad i went ahead and bought this. It turns whatever face wash you have into a scrub. I was getting tired of having a face scrub and a normal face wash. I use The Body Shop Tea Tree face wash. So far i am not disappointed. I can not say how long this brush will last but i will give an update when i feel it has lost it's effectiveness. It also came with a protective case to cover the brush while not in use which i thought was a plus. I have a feeling i will keep this as a part of my personal hygiene routine.

I was actually considering purchasing the Clarisonic Mia 2 Facial Cleanser when I have never even used any sort of brush on my face before. To save myself some serious dough, I figured in the end that I would see how I liked using a small manual brush first. I came across this brush and so far I’m very pleased. This is a cute, really tiny brush. I find I have good control using it in the shower as it’s designed. The bristles I feel are of a soft to medium texture of which I use in a relaxed circular manner. I do not have sensitive skin so I’ve been able to use it everyday and my face feels soft and clean afterwards. For the price, I say give it a try.

Bought this product because I look body shop product but this brush is so small that it is not encouraging to use. I cannot say how good the brush is because it is not comfortable to use

The product is very small- no matter how small you expect it to be, it will end up being even smaller. I like the size, as it is very easy to maneuver around all areas of the face while avoiding sensitive areas like the eyes and nose. In the hand, the bristles feel very soft and smooth, and perhaps too soft to be effective at exfoliating. But in actual use, the bristles are just stiff enough and have enough texture to exfoliate well, while being gentle enough for daily use. The included cover fits securely and is a nice bonus. I've drilled a hole in mine to allow the brush to dry when traveling.

If your skin is the least little bit sensitive, don't waste your money on this brush.It felt soft enough when I riffled my fingers across the bristles....but against my skin, it felt like sandpaper. (even against the skin of my arm)Maybe I'll see if the dogs will be OK with my using it to brush their faces. Or maybe I'll find some use for it as a cleaning brush. All I know for sure is that it won't be coming anywhere near my face again.
