Work in pediatrics and have used this stethoscope for a few years now and love it. A bit heavier than the Littman cardiac scope I used to use, hence the 4 star rating, but I swear I hear much better! Plus a fraction of the price, can’t beat it. Also, it’s slightly longer than the Littman, which I like. Just browsing for different colors now.

More of a toy than a serious stethoscope
I have to agree with other reviewers - the quality of sound from this is really poor . . . lots of background noise, not so much sound from the bell. It looks nice, which earns it the 2nd star, but past that it really isn't very useful. I'll keep it around until I find a better one, but I'm not impressed. To hear anything useful - your placement has to be SPOT on - and then, it is very low still. My nurse friend essentially rated this as a "toy" instead of a serious stethoscope. This product was provided at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.
