Replacement for Nintendo Switch Dock, Portable Switch Docking Station, HDMI TV Adapter Multi-Angle Adjustable Cradle Base for Nintendo Switch with USB C Power Input

I use this for 2 reasons. First, charging while playing. Second, USB port for pro controller since the Switch button configuration does not work well with adult size fingers. The unit is very compact and easy to move around compared to dock that comes with the regular Switch. It works perfectly when displaying regular Switch on the TV or other display via HDMI. It does work with the Switch Lite in table top mode only. Switch Lite doesn't have the internal hardware to display via HDMI so only viewing option is the small screen. I would recommend getting this as a second/travel dock if you play in different rooms in the house.

Got to replace a burned out OG dock. This one is super functional, takes up NO space, and the easy access port on the side works really well for wired controllers. My kid likes that it doesn't cover the screen, as well.

This is a nice travel companion or an add-on for a second TV. Has a button to switch from TV to console viewing. Works with all accessories that we have plugged into it. Quick and easy setup. I haven’t noticed any difference in picture quality compared to the original dock. We have put lots of hours on this dock and haven’t had any issues.

I wasn’t sure which docking option to choose, for a variety of reasons, as I only wanted a spare dock in the bedroom when I wanted to transfer from my normal gaming space. So I went with the Kahool option as it seemed to check the most boxes and I figured I’d return it if it didn’t meet standards. When I received it, the dock is so small, it can literally fit in a pocket, I was surprised. I did have to buy a separate rapid charger, and on Amazon I believe that ran me another $10-15. As for performance, the Switch slides right into place. In the two weeks I’ve owned it, I’ve moved my Switch between docks at least 5-6 times and it so far is holding up really well. There is an on/off button which gives the option to turn off if your tv requires it to move between switch and tv mode. When it is on and the Switch is on the dock, the front of the dock lights up blue. Even if the tv is off, the light stays on, so either turn the dock off with the button or remove the Switch. As for picture quality, my main gaming tv is a 4k ultra 60” Samsung and the bedroom is a 4k ultra 40” Visio. The only difference between the image and sound is the tv. The Kahool holds up the same quality image and sound as the standard Nintendo dock. So far I am very happy with my choice and would recommend.
