I'm a big fan of Merchant Gourmet but it's getting increasingly expensive in the supermarkets. Buying in bulk is thankfully a cheaper alternative.

I’m trying to reduce my waistline a little, so trying out lots of new alternatives to chips!These are very tasty. They don’t look up to much, as lentils never do, but with the addition of some fresh chopped herbs, maybe some chopped tomatoes, and you’ve got a nice looking and healthy side dish.The flavour is good - not too tomatoey and filling.Can be eaten hot or cold straight from the packet.Will certainly buy these again.

Delicious, easy to make (heat up) and nutritious, with lots of fibre and protein. Aiming to increase my daily fibre and this has helped achieve that goal with a tasty meal.

I’ve been impressed with several of these Merchant Gourmet products, and this New Tomatoey French Puy & Green Lentils is no exception. It has a good flavour and and very satisfying texture. It is also very convenient, ready to eat straight from the packet, alternatively it is very easy to heat up. The only downside is the price.
